I think that Farlight's obsession with other games might lead to its killing. Instead of focusing on the things that don't make their game special, they try to be like the rest of the games. If I had to choose between FPP mode or GatePack, I would choose GatePack, but it is clear that they will sacrifice GatePack for things that the rest of the games consider complementary, such as FPP mode.😥
Actually, they are trying to do something that other games don't: make gameplays more versatile

Pra mim ficou melhor assim pois faz com que a gente pense melhor em com usar as abilidades dos personagens, pensa só com a invisibilidade da fantasma vai ficar útil agora pois não vai ter mais os jatepack pra fugir disso além de muitas outras possibilidades, pois essa sempre foi a intenção do gamer sem falar que a grande maioria não sabia usar os jatepack, agora os poderes vão realmente fazer diferença nas partidas e cada personagem vai ter seu próprio estilo de jogo bem mais original

O jogo só chegou onde chegou por causa das Jetpacks, eram o único diferencial até então. O que eles fizeram foi basicamente retirar a essência do projeto deles por conta de uma obsessão em querer se parecer com outros jogos tipo Apex.

I can't understand with people say save jetpacks.
But, i think farlight have a plan for every gamers from another fps battle Royale.
Im happy with upgrade delete the jetpacks. Cause every Player just play with attitude (SKILL) . Good aim, good movement, good strategy.
The main complaint is that if they’re are removing a core mechanic as that then they should at least compensate with addition of some movement such as rolling or sliding than leaving the game as it is. Even PUBG is better atm than this
it's like playing Pokemon without the ball-throwing/catching feature. Taking away the FUN part of the game isn't an upgrade, it's a downgrade

Desde que me enteré hace 3 días de que van a quitar los jetpacks no volví a jugar el juego , y si días después de la actualización Farlight no cambia su línea de ataque jamás en mi vida vuelvo a jugarlo, me pasó con cod mobile cuando en 2020 cambiaron el armero y pusieron miras lacer y una cantidad de mamadas.
