Fun Fact: On any new installation, readings of 1 Meg Ohm are unsatisfactory and new wiring/cabling needs to be pulled or installed. - Megger Readings on any new installation need to be either infinity or greater than 500 Meg Ohms on 120V or 240V AC circuits. Giga Ohms is more desirable if readings are not infinity on new installations!

You just make more confusion.. You tell to do something and you don't do it..
From 0:55 to 2:15 what are you testing?? And why do you tell to disconnect the phase from the main and it is still connected? What are you measuring outside? Where that cables came from?

If you are not dIsconnecting dimmers and sensor's, in the entire installation test. Are you still 500 volt mega testing the cables then. Or just regular ohm resistance testing the cables? Thanks

Hi Jonathon. If you are a member of Master Electricians you are welcome to email our Technical Support Manager with this question where he will be able to answer it.

you should test it at 250vDc for electronic devices

@@HussainsProjectno, 500v. since you are insulation testing combined line/neutral to earth...... stop writing about stuff you don't know
