I read a book before the last election written by a black American who really enlightened his fellow Americans (B/W) on just how the Democratic party has held them down. Everything he said he backed up with facts. As a boomer growing up in St. Louis, I saw the prejudice and the separation. I also saw the water-gun riots on the news and saw about all the evil surrounding early desegregation. Believe me, even with that, this book was a real eye opener re: the politics from Planned Parenthood to the university admissions to voting (especially in the (then?) Deep South. We have made strides but not with the people we’ve elected in the last years with the exception of President Trump. Just remember this, the best are the most crucified. Glad I read the book-truly wish I could recall author/title.
