This is the video that made me realise that when Crowley-as-Aziraphale sees the restored bookshop and just stands there outside, looking at it... the last time he was there it was on fire and Azirpahale was "dead", and I got FEELS.

I'm LOSING my mind over this. Florence + the Machine is my favorite band so there's that. But Shake It Off is such a perfectly optimistic Crowley song??? The transitions in time with the music??? That part where the scene completely swings into the burning bookshop as Crowley gestures is so smooth it made my head spun (2:08)??? The beautiful picture quality??? THE SCRAPBOOK THEME THAT ALMOST MADE ME WEEP??? THE ENDING IN SOUTH DOWNS THAT LITERALLY MADE ME GASP??? 10/10 this is a cinematic masterpiece and I am appalled that there aren't more views. I love it!

I just had a sad idea.
When Crowley was crying in the bar about being a demon after he discovered the burning bookshop.. I think he might have been regretting falling. Because if he was an angel, him and Aziraphale could have been together no problem. 😢💜
Or not. Angels probably can't be bothered with the whole loving each other thing. They've got to serve the Almighty. Crowley and Aziraphale are unique in that they've taken human form (like Dog ceased to be a Hell Beast) and have been slowly taking on earthly human nature over their angel and demon natures. But sadly, as much as they love each other, their fears keep them apart as well. Aziraphale flirts with Crowley so much, plays all kinds of games but when Crowley wants them to "go away together" he is terrified. Love this ship so much!

Love this video. Love hopeful Crowley. "It's a fine romance but it's left me so undone" was one of my favourites and the 'given half a chance, would I take any of it back" because we know Crowley wouldn't regret any time spent with Aziraphale even if it did end in a flaming bookshop like he thought for a bit. Crowley would also like to keep Aziraphale for himself

the editing is so good it didn't need to be flashy and fast, as many fanvids are. every scene was poignant and resonated with Florence's lyrics. this song is just do perfect for crowley's journey and you encapsulated his character perfectly.

Like, so much of this was just phenomenal. I was hooked in the first 10 seconds and then you just got better. I LOVE how intentional every clip feels - it can be difficult to match scenes to every lyric, especially since you're only able to work with what the show gave you, but this was just awesome, nothing felt like filler or just tossed in to meet the time... and then the editing, the shaking, the cutting back and forth. *chef's kiss* True art, amazing.
