yeah because govt hospitals are bad. but windows antivirus does the same thing as paid antivirus, both do the same thing. in fact paid antivirus might even decrease your computer's performance because of all the extra processes running in background. you don't seem to know much about computers.

Practically MRT is not an anti-virus. It just helps to detect any corrupt file or cracked file which has been installed in your pc/laptop. It never protects the computer from gaining any virus files or take any action against it. Instead the windows powershell antivirus to some extent helps to protect your computer by fast detecting the virus but that is too not a replacement of any antivirus software.
If you are a regular safe user who doesn't pirate anything or goes to any suspicious website then MRT and defender are good for you but if you do any one of the above activities you may require a good quality antivirus on your PC
Actually these antiviruses also helps you to do safe transactions where as MRT is more orietened towards keeping your pc anti malwared but not your browsing or data cache.

I used to rely on Windows Security, but then after a virus attack, The virus deleted Windows Security files from registry, and no files were corrupted, only deleted, so windows could not fix any "corrupt" files. Had to reinstall my windows installation entirely.

No anti virus can completely remove a virus
You should use multiple anyi viruses to remove virus completely
My recommendation use atleast 5 anti virus and the very first one to execute is windows own mrt
