I sell & install splits systems in Melbourne, Australia and I am really impress with your repair skills and attitude towards the HVAC trade. Good on you. Thank you
Excellent repair video! I'm looking forward to Hack doing a service call! It's always nice to be the first one to work on a unit. That way you don't have to potentially wade through someone else's mess.
I only like mars capacitors had a bad experience titan Johnstone wanted to give me titan and i said no . Alot of techs are this way in az . I just love how 70 mfd can read almost bad but still be within spec. Thanks for the video always learn from you. I swear i heard hack this job lol
Those old Bryant (aka Carrier) package units suck! I worked on a similar one a few months ago, though it was a gas pack. Bad board, bad blower motor, bad inducer. Replacing the inducer was the most pain in the ass part of it. Carrier in all of their infinite wisdom indeed. Gee I can’t wait til the condenser fan motor craps out on that thing too. 🤣
Ductwork isn't sized right or has restrictions... all that mold. Extra condensation in the blower section..not good. Stay safe and be well Brother Dave
Dave. Thanks again for showing the whole process in the video instead of simply cutting to the motor already changed!

Dang Dave! You should have gotten some of those good mashed potatoes and gravy to go with that extra crispy. #TeamSanders 🐔
Titan PRO are the Titan capacitors fortified with Chinese-ium.
besides the bad cap and clear thermal cycling/crisping, was there anything wrong with the motor that prevented it from running?
No
@@NorCal-refrigeration 👍
Shoot, the one thing I was looking for was how to separate the fan blade from the shaft. 😂
NorCal Dave to the rescue again
Original recipe and extra crispy 😭
Dave you should make a song about Bojack.
Am I not supposed to be using my service wrench for those square head bolts? Real question from a junior tech.

@@NorCal-refrigeration Just as good as any other Chinese caps. I prefer Titan HD, made in USA. Titan Pros made in China.

Why don't they give you new hardware with the motors anymore? It never fails at least one is going to break off.
👍
How about a hack and moe live stream? 🤣
i never start with power off due to looking for faults first
i hate intermittent issues though and i feel checking everytime is a good warm up.
