I have one of these that I bought last year and I love it! When I previously lived in Orlando I got 60+ channels. 40 miles away from Kansas City now and still getting 40 channels. I have mine outside, which I highly recommend.
@@shancole4926 No you don’t. It picks up channels broadcasting on RF channels 14-36 (UHF band). Most broadcast channels in the US aren’t actually broadcasting on the channel you know them as. We have an ABC 2, but it now broadcasts on channel 27 (it used to be on 2 in the analog days). There is no such thing as an HD antenna. Antennas are just metal cut to specific lengths for Low-VHF (RF channels 2-6 and requires antenna elements from 3-6 feet), High-VHF (RF channels 7-13 and requires antenna elements from 1.5 to 3 feet), and UHF (RF channels 14-36 and requires antenna elements from a few inches to 1.5 feet). You could use a C-Band satellite dish and receiver, and try to scan for any cable channels possibly in the clear. Check out Northcoaster Hobby’s channel. He found some, but they won’t last long.
Hi Matt. Thanks for the video on the deal. It is important to point out that no stations in the US are currently broadcasting in 4k. Most either do 720p or 1080i.
Thomas Woodford they don’t where he is either. The station he said was 4K wasn’t. It wasn’t even 1080p it’s 1080i. He is following the trend on RUclips throwing the words “hack” into everything, and exaggerated claims because the box says it can.
& there's no such thing as a HD antenna. Just find a pair of 15-20 yr old rabbit ears & plug to TV & you'll get the same channels or maybe even more. I dropped DTV 2 yrs back (after 25vyrs) as prices keep increasing. i live in a rural area so i did research on roof top antennas spent bout 250 buck for everything only didn't put on roof, put in ground pole that peaks @ 50ft which was all i needed to receive signals, Antenna man on RUclips gives great accurate advice.
Very good info, i was actually trying to fix my DIY antenna hehe i used clip and thanks God You notify me for better antenna thank you so much and God Bless You always ❤️
It seems like power Banks and antennas are a majority of the deals you find. It would be cool to see some unique things such as diabetic socks, apparel or Footwear for people with injuries, perhaps a great knife set or juicers or things not always in the sedentary entertainment field. Still, a joy to watch you get excited about anyting!
Hello hello! Thks for sharing.. I just bought a cheap to check if antenna is working like u said but only have 4 channels. Didn't have many channels.. should I buy other one expensive n do it have many channels?. Just curious..
i have a good digital antenna in my attic. one tv on a third floor, and one tv in four floors down in the basement. the antenna works fine for the tv up on the third floor, but how can i get the antenna to work for the TV in the basement that’s four floors down? will another antenna be needed for the TV in the basement? will the antenna work in the basement? no sling, no roku, no subscriptions, no money fees, i’m just looking for a tv signal in my basement with an antenna. thank you
4K? Do you have TVs up there with tuners for 4K? Here in the US those are still being tested and not on the consumer market . I am thinking 4K streaming but only 1080P for actual tv, maybe with conversion to 4K. Looking forward to the ATSC 3.0 standard...
Well if the US doesn't have 4k, then it's only because they haven't figured out how to charge for it yet. When they figure that out, it'll be available.
Only 9 channels. At Walmart for a decent antenna at $40 I get 60 live channels. All local channels and then some. Miami, Fl Plus $45 all taxes/fees and UNLIMITED DVR CLOUD SPACE IF you want 80 cable channels RUclips TV. I don’t have time to watch cable so not subscribed to RUclips TV at this point. But did use it months ago it’s EXCELLENT!!!
@ Sergio San, Go to Antenna man (youtube) he'll give you all the answers. You'll find out why this guy didn't connect the Amp to the TV for this demonstration & give you the best advice on which type of antenna you need & or what else (if any) you need to purchase based on your situation. Oh yeah, There's No Such Thing As HD antennas.
Hay Matt I live in a rural area where we have to have a satellite for cable and internet My wife says you are the best! I’m wondering if this antenna would be good for us. Iam currently paying 250.00 monthly for crappy cable..please help!
This could be good for someone I know who doesn’t have cable, and her the signal on her old antenna keeps going in and out. Thanks I will definitely check this out.
Why is everyone so amazed it's just an antenna which has always had free channels. Our super old antenna can pull in 30+ channels over this 9+ channel antenna 😂
Another amazing vid bro keep up the great work wish u could do another giveaway tho mostly because I'm in need if a new phone but also to give everyone a chance to win one to 💕😃
I know it depends on your location but my $20 window antenna gets like 30 channels. 4 times the money and 5 times the size not a deal for me. Where is the hack??
honey, if you're out in the sticks, away from your "local" stations, the antenna may not help you. Watch the vid again, and use the link to the test for local stations, before you go spending money.
@ ladylovesbmc Go to Antenna man (youtube) keeping in mind there's no such thing as a HD antenna (it's a sales pitch) @ antenna man channel you get loads of free detailed info.
He usually does tell you the price but I guess since he didn't hear it's probably expensive because he showed us $30 antenna that did the same thing about 6 months ago
Please stop adding *hack* to everything. please.
How to reply to a RUclips comment with this AMAZING HACK

Thanks a lot. Matt !!!
Looks solid but I am skeptical when you say “9” channels...
This antenna seems so cool. I had an external antenna once but all it would do is pixelate. This one seems so much better.
Thank you Matt. You always bring us the best information and deals. 🤗

Did you do a review on Playstation Vue?
Very cool antenna.
You can't get 4k over the air. That's why only satellite offers 4k. HD is 720 or 1080i
But satellite is compressed so 1080i is superior
