I have to thank my Boomer Mom for teaching me the dance to this when I was younger. This was a pretty popular song in the 60s. You gotta think 45 records (7” singles) were the things back then because parties and what we now call “kickbacks” were IN. People would stack 45s to play one song after another (like a playlist), and dance to the songs. So a song like “Cool Jerk” was big, especially because it had a dance to it. 🤗💜💫✨🤌🏾
