Gotta say I really appreciate this video series. It's the only real well-produced, and well explained tutorial series for C# in Godot. Keep it up, my dude!
Honestly I'm loving your tutorials and teaching style. Please keep it up! Super helpful to me, I get lost in the sauce a lot with other tutorials. Thank you for making these
I work as a C# programmer in my day job. Have been doing this for roughly 5 years now and know a decent about it. use c# with godot as im familiar with but could easily use GDScript as well. Maybe ill start making some tutorials as well at some point as i feel like i could add something to the low stock of c# material out there for godot. maybe even videos where I can break down GDScript code (like a player controller) and explain the c# equivalents for each line. idk how good those videos will do but i feel like there needs to be more content out there for people just getting started
I'm going to encourage you - if you're curious about putting out content, just go for it. I had analysis paralysis for a long time before I finally said, "nobody is going to see my first few videos anyway." Well, I was wrong, but they still got positive feedback. You'll likely surprise yourself. And the Godot/C# niche is growing and currently underserved, so I'd say to follow your bliss!
I really run out of words for appreciating your way of tecahing in such a detail the only wish i have now is to learn from you in all my future tutorial i would like to watch for anything. you are a ideal teacher i would look for. i must say the way you teach is to be followed by everyone. Hey could you tell me who taught you in such a great way and how you learned to teach in such a great way.😅
Dang @techrstudios, you're making me tear up over here! If there are any types of videos you'd be interested in seeing in the future, I'd appreciate your feedback. I've got at least a year's worth of ideas of my own - this basics series isn't going to last forever - but if my viewers are clamoring for something specific, I'm happy to oblige.
@@arkadegamesllc Would love to see some c# software development videos too. maybe desktop application. Then Godot game development videos maybe 3D and 2D.
@@techrstudios There are definitely some Godot game development tutorials in the pipeline for both 2D and 3D, so no worries there! I don't have any plans on making desktop application videos, unfortunately. We're going to stay in this Godot niche for a bit, though I do have some project management tutorials planned as I work professionally as a product owner.
Great series. One recommendation would be to increase the audio. Other than that it's really helpful for someone switching from unity to godot. Is it possible to code in C++ since godot is made in c++?
Thank you, and I appreciate the note! When leveling I wasn't sure if I should bring things up or down, so I'll keep that in mind! As for your question, yes, it is possible to program in C++, either through modifying the source directly (Godot is programmed in C++) or by playing with "GDExtensions" which I don't personally have much experience in.
Thanks for your videos. They are really great! Keep it up! Is C# supported well in godot or is it more like secondary citizen type of thing? Also, what are some of the downsides of c# in godot?
No secondary citizen here - C# is fully supported in Godot. The only major "drawback" is that it's a little clunky working with Godot collections in C#. However, since C# collections are superior, if you simply don't use Godot collections, there's no worries.

🙏 Your kind words will keep me going! Much appreciated!
Absolutely fantastic series so far! Hope you continue to work on these videos!
I got you!
