Buddy completely let himself get divided and conquered. And funny enough, all the things he didn't use were all the things he needed. Cultists with GN's to prevent mandrakes from accomplishing anything in the beginning, then decent CC support in the midgame. Raptors to tie up warriors and scourge, or set them to ranged once they have flamers to destroy morale. Zerkers to fear and break the enemy army, then attack enemy melee. Predators instead of Obliterators because he needed a faster and stronger anti-vehicle that wouldn't get tied up with enemy melee units. And with the raptors on the scourge, anti-vehicle wouldn't be an issue. And he needed a heavy defensive emplacement in the north west so he could focus his army more in the east to protect his base. Obliterators and Talons were a terrible choice. Obliterators are too slow, and even with teleport it's still an issue. Should really only get them for deepstriking the enemy base, and just plan on sacrificing them. And Talons are just terrible in a fight. Their only advantage is their speed, so they're worthless against Dark Eldar. And while I do love Defilers, they're really only a delay mechanism, which can even work against you. As backline you have to micro them so you aren't doing friendly fire or preventing your army from killing the knocked enemies. As such I find them best suited as either pure defense to assist your turrets, to tank for your advance, or to force fights by artillering enemy buildings. And rather than trying to focus so much on finishing enemy squads, he should have been focusing on preserving his army and winning by way of defensive siege with occasional forrays. Chaos replaces units faster than DE, and are typically more cost effective too.
Exactly I don't understand why this guy didn't use any Berserkers or Predators especially. With all that Infantry coming at him there's no reason not to spam Predators. He could have cleared out the whole map and went straight into the Dark Eldar base.

Are you kidding? Sure it's not that great in a straight up fight but if you hit a good Scythe it's massive damage, and Energy Field is a gamechanger. Not to mention its speed and armor class. If you focus on taking out the few enemy units with good ranged anti vehicle high (with appropriate units of your own) then the Dais is practically invincible.

If you try to fight face to face with a hit'n'run army, yeah it's weak. But then that's more of a skill issue.
