Love the babies. Looks like BC Interior...dry and windy. You guys are doing great work. I loved the foals my mares had....such trusting foals. Very lucky you 2 are keeping eyes open for them. You are giving them such a great start ❤
Sage’s Mum didn’t want to leave her & it almost looked like she knew these guys were going to help her baby & that’s the only reason she left her when the stallion came to get her. Horses are very intelligent & these guys seem like they’ve been caring for their babies for quite a while so the herd must know they’ll take care of sick or injured little ones.

Could someone tell me what happened to the moms?
Abandoned. The foals couldn't keep up with the herd. So they were left behind.
