If you are an NCC cadet then you should definitely try for RDC as the journey to the main showdown will change you as a person in a positive way and you will get bonus marks in C certificate examination which will help you to get better grades in C cert exam. All the best 😊
In zonal contingent there are 2-3 directorates together and special vacancies are allotted to all the directorates for it. The one's who are not selected can participate in the normal PM rally contingent directorate wise
