HRC is often the mystery of the product and I wish it weren't so. I think companies get these premium steels and simply use it as a selling point rather than bothering to do a quality heat treat and to in turn make a truly quality product.
@@David_DY it's gonna always be done and we can't know the true quality unless they state the HRC (which hopefully is an accurate statement). As usual, a reminder not to buy the steel, but buy moreso based on the reputation of the maker or the particular model. Some of these newer companies are just depending on the raw material to attract the buyers.
Thanks for the Looks and Thanks for The Win of This CMB on Your Patreon Christmas GAW, My Luck Must Be Changing For 2023 😎, Thanks Jared n Kara and Happy New Year !!!
Looks like a good knife overall, great size, like the blade shape, and kudos to them about listing HRC even if it is low, at least people have an idea about what they are getting. Although HRC is just a gauge to let you know that the heat treat went correctly if you are following the correct heat treat protocols. Would like to see all M390 bumped up to 63+ but it will cost companies alot more to do it properly in ways of grinding materials and that seems to be a cost they don't want to invest in for the most part. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Hahaha well it’s nice too see a fellow human open a package just like I do. Very nice piece I would definitely if i could add one to the collection. Keep up the good work Jerad until then stay safe and healthy J&K and have a beautiful day
I have the CMB Predator, and I really dig the ergonomics. Comfort and the blade position are awesome on it. And it’s super cheap around 50 bucks. It’s one that I won in the Said Stevie 1K giveaway.
Did the spec say it has Copper caged ceramic ball bearings? That's pretty interesting, I bet they get super smooth after use. I also really like that blade shape, might need to pick one of these up soon. Thanks for showing us Jerad

Some's doing the same shit with magnacut! It's not really Magnacut till 63! It's a shame the super steels are just being wasted!!

Jered knows his stuff that contributes to Good content .
Dagnabbit...er...I mean, Dagon! Lol! This is a cool looking knife! That blade shape is unique!

you need to get yourself a macro lens brother...to get those fine details...amazing details on this...
I like the look and color. Thanks for the info 👍🏻✌🏻
Might be named after the titular character in HP Lovecraft's short story "Dagon." Regardless, it's a pretty cool design!
Exactly! The name is after Lovecrafts Dagon and Sumerian god to! Glad you like my design 💪🏻

Oh sweet! It's a great knife
Nice, the frame lock does not deface the knife too much.
Gives me bare knuckles vibes, but a premium build. Very cool finish on it too 👍
Awesome “unboxing” 😂 didn’t waste time which was great.
Jerad, my wife would love that for her 25th anniversary. Your wife understands
I'll find out
Appreciate the review.

This isn't my favorite and I'm not sure I'd buy one but there is something about it.
Hey Jared did you see the manix 2 sprint coming in cpm 15v? I'm excited!
i did not
@@NeevesKnives it's triple Bs version, he had something to do with the steel. Maybe even just the heat treat of the steel
So cool 😎
Like a wharncliff Kansept Accipiter
I'm impressed with CMB on this one!
Love the blade shape on that one. A bit of ZT vibes on the blade shape. I have a cheap Chinese flipper that is very similar.
Noticed lately your Blade HQ link does not work.
Why is it better for the lockbar cutout to be on the inside instead of the outside?
Makes it easier in and out of the pocket, obviously some knives are worse than others some it doesn't affect at all.
The detail on the finish is really cool looking.
I guessed knife, I was correct
Dang man. Spoilers!!🤣👍
Aaah! What is it??!
BAAM2 🤯
Don't step on this CMB!
Ozark Trail?
F1rst 😂
