I watched your video and just bought Extremis edition. I love the fact that it has a terrain, dice, rules and some miniatures. So everything that new player need to play. :)
This video helped me a lot as a new miniature painter. I never considered the warrior set but after your explanation it's a good test to dip my toes into. Price per miniature is awesome as well.
I'm glad I didn't buy this two years ago. I just picked it up on Amazon for $110 because I was going to get the Vanguard box of the Orruks and noticed it cost more than this box. So it was obviously smarter to get those, with the Stormcast and the rulebook for $9 less and at 60 minis that's $1.83 per model.
I bought a second Dominion box since they are ridiculous value since people are clearing them out. If you hold the Stormcast until the launch of the next edition you could sell it for a profit as all the newbies flood in at the beginning of the hype cycle.
YEP! i was playing 40k today, but while waiting at the game store i was looking at AoS army boxes Saw slaves to darkness (220) and thought they looked amazing, id wait to see what they valued online (had just bought a 50$ full price box to support the store that day) And ran across this dominiom box for 110 on amazon too 😂 Immediatelt bought it
New sub here, I want to get into AoS and this helped me a lot, still be going for Dominion though :) Quick question, the rule book in the Dominion box, is that the same as the one they sell separate ?
Thanks for actually breaking down who these boxes are aimed at! Now I'm more confident in getting the Warrior box and starting my AoS/Warcry journey from there. Slowly but surely.
@@miniaturewargaminglabs4143 .. its an insane price! Im still shocked myself! It arrived yesterday as well.. 10 other un-opened boxes to my left as i type. Only started painting these a few months back 😀
Instead of buying gutrippers in their own should I just buy the warriors set to get them as they aren’t that much more expensive and I get the dice and can make some of the money back by selling the stormcast stuff
I would very much like to get Dominion, but fate turned out differently - I'm in a financial crisis. I know about big discounts for Dominion, but it's not for my country. So for now I only have the smallest starter. I just can't help but support my favorite Warhammer Age of Sigmar at least that way.
I'll probably go for the dominion box and share with a friend (50€ each). One question though: Are these minis push-fit like 40k's starters or do they need glue?
Brand new sealed dominion box for just 100$ this month, what an excellent steal

Glad I could help. And, thanks for the feedback.
I just bought the Dominion box at a HUGE discount from my local hobby shop at 85 dollars :D It officially made me like age of sigmar alot :D
I picked up two more when they went on clearance at my local store.
Thanks for your advice for beginners. I will always support . Thank you
So nice of you.
I have gotten both Dominion and the Harbinger Starter set in the last few weeks, so I have a decent sized Orruk and Stormcast force, I think

I have not looked at the sold separately one but I was told it was the same except for the art.
Yes, you will get the full hard back core rule set in dominion. You get a smaller version in the other 3 starter sets.

It is great to hear that the review helped. I think easing into the game is a smart decision.
I completely agree I bought the warrior last week as my 1st box. Great box but not a lot of armies
Thanks a ton. Was so hard to understand on online listings the exact differences and what sets are best for who.
I am glad it helped.
Mate..... I just paid £80 from an independent store in the uk, for Dominion ;)
That is a great price.

That makes sense. Especially if you can sell locally instead of paying the e-bay fees.

Only one contains the actual rule book the other ones only have pamphlets

No they are not the push fit. You will need glue for these.
@@miniaturewargaminglabs4143 wrong, they are push to fit
Does start set warrior needs glue or it has hooks?
You can push fit them and let the primer hold it together. But, I would still glue it.
I am just in it for the painting part, and the Dominion set currently being on clearance at 35% off or more seems like a steal tbh.
I bought two more sets last week since everyone is clearing them out.
