Does More Sugar Mean More Alcohol? A Video about putting putting sugar in alcohol - does alcohol turn to sugar - sugar in alcohol - adding sugar to alcohol
Wine making is easy. I was an expert by my first batch! The second came in at 70 proof. All by measurement of a hydrometer. So easy!!!! When, after 3-4 weeks, add a 5% (same juice) mixture per make - for added flavor and allow to rest in an oak barrel for several months (ideally for mellowing), before, bottling by means of glass and cork
How exactly can you write it out
I make my wine so strong it taste almost like moonshine.Ive never put more fruit in it,just more sugar. When I pour it up I add extra sugar to taste to give it a light sweet taste and then put it in the fridge to age so it doesn't try to keep working. My strawberry wine is a hit with all the ladies lol.Strong yet smooth going down and no aftertaste except the fruit.
How long do you kept wine in the fridge to make the wine yeast inactive?
@@remyaarun6102as soon as the wine is under 22° the fermentation process stops

A beginner first tries to make strong booze and ends up making prizon hooch. Slowly when he becomes seasoned, he cares about all the desired characters of wine. 12% ABV is enough for a good wine.
This comment is underrated ^^^
@@HomeBrewAdvice nowadays I'm teaching a group of enthusiasts about wine making. Some of them try to make crazy ABV of 17-18% and don't care about taste. But slowly some have realised that taste, colour, clarity, tartness, aroma etc are also important to make it drinkable and enjoying.
@@Dave_en hi
Looking at your name, you are from India, right?
@@HomeBrewAdvice hi

How to store/convert your lequid yeast in dry yeast form for storing parpose.
@@veen88 yeah. I'm indian from New Delhi.
Don't take hassles. Wine making is too easy that anyone can do it. Just you need to follow proper steps.
Really good video, i have question. How to keep the alchol on wine below 20% to keep the yeast still alive?
What is the maximum amount of sugar that I can add for the highest alcohol in wine, how many grams per liter?
Good video.
It teaches me to be patient.
My first batch made me famous in friends. Everyone dubbed me an artist in making wine.
Second batch has given me tough time.: it’s bubbling got slower. Alcohol level is not coming up to desired level-10%.
Checked everything- yeast is is fine. Room temperature is fine too.
WTF is there to slowdown the bubbling 😤
I just racked it n it got dead slow.
Need patience 😌
It’s past 20 days.
Let’s wait 10 days more.
I’ll do it. 🦹♀️
The slightest mistakes changes everything. After 7 years of brewing, mistakes are still a thing we do a lot..
I wish i saw this vedio before making the wine
This is a good reason to make another batch of wine :D
Lmfao saame
Try browin polish fruit wine a few different varieties available rosehip is very good, dried fruits and high alcohol yeast comes out around 16% ABV light red/ros'e style cheap very easy to make and easy drinking.
I'm new to this wine making journey, first taste today alcohol is fine just would like it to be a little sweeter can I add honey seeing that I'm out of sugar🤷🏻♀️🤦♀️
So it wont produce exactly the same results.. But there is much content about adding honey in alcohol out there :)
Don't do that. Honey is a living food and it's going to be way different than sugar. Better do research first
Use either honey or sugar. Don't add both. It's not a bad idea to backsweeten your drink. Just do it little carefully.👍
If you're going to add honey to sweeten it, and are going to store it after adding: do not forget to add potassium sorbate first, to kill the yeast. Or your honey will turn to alcohol, and the by products of that process may be undesirable
I made mead wich is like wine but honey was used instead of fruit. I also added a pound or two of sugar in a gallon and it was bubbling like crazy for two months. Then it suddenly stopped. I pulled it out took a taste and it was way too sweet I could hardly taste or smell any alcohol. I feel like even if I added less sugar alcohol would still be low. I'll try again next time. It taste good still but too sweet
Sounds like it got too cool
Can a use whole wheat bread slice as yeast
That's how they do it in jail LOL
No because the preservatives added in bread kills yeast
YES, you can
For 10 kg white Mulberry how much white sugar please?
My home made rice and sugar wine test like sour, is that ok??
Am I making alcohol if I combine water, sugar, probiotic capsule and veggie or fruit?
What to do if the wine is too sweet?

@@Bilal-9198 Buy vodka and add an equal amount of water to the vodka. Boom, 20%.
No yeast and suger only goes up to 23 % highest, you would have to still it off if you want 30 % you can make it 80 % if you still it.moonshine man.
