Thanks Curt! It was a good way to get out of the rain! The gardens are quite extensive around the biomes, but they weren't much fun when you're getting drenched trying to look at them. They also stage live acts outdoors in the evenings, but we didn't stay for that. If I lived near you, I'd drag you out more. MTM has had too much of your time already! ;-)
Thank you, Lo! If you ever vacation in the the UK, Cornwall is worth a visit. It's in the 'toe-end' of the country, and has beautiful fishing villages hugging the rocky coastline. It even has palm trees in some areas, because it catches the Gulf Stream sweeping up from Mexico, so is usually a few degrees warmer than the rest of the UK. (When it's not raining constantly, like last July, that is!) :-)
Thanks Adam! :-) It's a good day out. It would have been better if it wasn't constantly raining when we were there. They do have live outdoor shows on a huge stage in the gardens, but we didn't stick around to see it. They have Mika playing there this year, according to the website.
I'm in England for six weeks every other summer (and this coming one), so I will be sure to see if I can find Cornwall and get there. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi Michael! I'm always pleased to see you drop by, especially as you're on our side! LOL I think YT didn't like your guns. They'd spammed you before I'd even seen the comment! :-D You're now happily *unspammed*, (whether that's a real word or not) :-)
As a smoker, walking around such a green area and not being allowed to smoke, it's so unfair to see all that tobacco drying and know you can't sneak a crafty drag! LOL
That looks like a lovely idea for a holiday, and it's great to learn about such an undertaking. Have a great rest of the week.
Just be glad it only rained for 7 days and not 40 ; P
Thanks for sharing with us!
Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the beauty. I do miss hearing your voice, however. Cheers.
It is an unusual thing to visit, but it was quite enjoyable, and kept us out of the rain :-)

Those habitat domes are built on a huge scale! I have never seen anything quite like that...

I agree, Gareth. When you are climbing the slopes and carrying knapsacks and cameras etc., It does leave you quite weary by the time you get out :-)
Thanks very much, Rose! I'll be back soon - I have another one simmering
:-D
Thank you for watching and commenting, Rob! :-)
I hope you enjoyed your Halloween, Lauryn! I'm pleased that Eden provides you with year-round fun! :-)

I went here a few days ago, some of it was amazing, way too humid in those domes though...
They sure are, Andy. The waterfall was quite impressive for a fake "indoor water feature!" :-)
Reminds me of the BioSphere2 Project in AZ.
@waltercarnby Your opinion is right, but it got us out of the rain for an hour or two.
:-)

Haha! Good biblical reference, considering it was 'Eden'. We didn't see anything of a naked man with a rib ripped out though...
;-)
Well naturally I think he's cute, Bryan (Scott), and he's usually a lot happier when he doesn't have to go to work, as am I!
:-)
gotta rizzler? LMAO
@RobNorthampton oh that was tobacco...lol ;)
