It was funny they made the yellow flower field scenes all cute and romantic. We hate the yellow flower here lol, nobody hangs out in the yellow flower:D
I saw it and it was amazing definitly my surprise this year. I watch it in German and holy shit hanus got such an amazing and calm voice here. Hope we see adam sandler in more movies like this.
Hanus makes me think hes the evolution of the Bagheera kiplingi, a spider that's pretty much a total vegetarian. They don't build webs and eat plant matter so they actually explore. They still have all those superb sense that make spiders top notch predators but like I said they don't use any of those for hunting g but are instead using them to constantly monitor their enviroment and are very inquisitive. So they spend their time exploring and not having any beef with anything they'll encounter unless they feel a threat to wich they just hide. They are almost idea adventurers who simply travel and observe.
@@Soundtracks92not at all. A spider is perhaps the greatest symbolic example of the grand scale of the little things in life turning out to be some of the most layered and impactful. Spiders are incredible bro, many have very very recently been found to have cognitive abilities once thought to only be found in vertebrates. I don’t know if it was intentional but I love it so much. I was the biggest arachnophobe until I met a jumping spider while lifeguarding and he ended up coming every day to hang out with me. Changed my life.
It doesn't really trigger my arachnophobia since Hanus is more like a furry animal with 8 legs and 8 eyes. Not really insect-like if you look closely. Spiders have a hard exoskeleton and fangs. Hanus had fingers at the end of his legs and elephant-like trunks for arms in the front. The body looked like skin and muscle with a bone structure. The mouth was also very human-like.
I have a genuine fear of spiders, and I would still 100% hug a spider like Hanus if he needed it.
Hanus death legit made me cry, never thought I would feel for a spider.
It’s a marvelous film
Yes it was!

From 31:56 til the end my brother was constantly screaming "What's his mother's name?!"
I just watched this movie, like a few seconds ago. This movie is amazing and made me go through all types of emotions. Made me cry.

Its a metaphor of jacobs ladder. Angels have many eyes and legs and when he meets him the angel says be not afraid
Very good insight here! Thanks for the info. I love this movie and I can’t believe I held off watching it for so long

At least Paul Dano's voice makes him strangely relaxing?
