This is SO helpful, thank you!! As a yankee American, "O" is one of the most difficult sounds in Australian English for me. Breaking it down into 2 syllables has helped a tonne. However, in relation to my yankee accent, I hear your "O" as more of an "Ah-Ru." I hear my version of an "R" in there, which really trips me up. But, hearing you break it down and slowly repeat it has helped my brain comprehend what was going on in the accent much more easily. I've got alot of practice to do, but I'm miles ahead after this video. Thank you for doing what you do!!

As an American, your O's sound like they end with an soft R sound. So like, no, sounds like "nor."
    So sounds like "soar." Etc..

Aussie English btw mate, I’m Brazilian and currently based in Melbourne. If you want to get along with your Portuguese quicker so let me know as I might somehow be able to help you with that. You’ve been helping me a lot and I really appreciate your videos.
Bonus suggestion for future videos: many Brazilians - and you might have noticed it from your wife - have issues with pronouncing words that start with “s”, like sleep, slash etc. I’ve been told many times that we tend to slightly put an “e” sound before the “s” sound, and we most likely do it because in Portuguese the raw “s” sound has this “e” sound in it. Indeed, we’d say “éssi” rather then a pure “s” sound. Could you please help me with that bloody “s” sound? Thanks again. Cheers.
