- I LOVE the trend for making glitter Christmas baubles and then decorating with vinyl.
I wanted to find a quick way to add the glitter using supplies I already had... so a bottle of standard hairspray came to my rescue!

Just made some Santa cam baubles, was unsure how to put glitter in, as most videos don’t show half baubles. They look amazing, and I will definitely be using your technique.

Hi, they look great but wouldn’t the hairspray not make the baubles extremely flammable? Especially with them going on a Christmas tree with lights etc! X
Hmm, I'm not sure!! The hairspray is completely sealed inside the plastic, so it's not touching anything on the tree, and it is dry. I had several on my tree last Christmas with no problems.
Hi Sarah. can tou tell me how the hairspray held after a year? Did the glitter stayed exactly were they were ? ( I have seen some that did not stayed , and some changed color ( yellowish) . What do they look , now?
They still look exactly the same :) The glitter has stayed in place and they have not yellowed.

I made these last Christmas (2020) and recently got them out of storage and they still look perfect, no glitter has come off :)
