Now that it has group to group, hopefully that will lead to the ability to change aux sends from aux to FX or to Groups. A option that would be better, in my mind is if they just changed it to 24 Groups and the ability to change an aux to a group. 24 groups would allow you to have a full layer of groups, plus another layer that is half groups and half effects. Plus it would technically be 24 groups and 24 aux. This would be wonderful.
@joevegna If i step into LV1 for first time i was suprides that FX was out of groups, this socked me so much that i was really sure that my instalation is broken :D After a while a discover that was by design.
@MarcelGavalier Yes it's one of those things that doesn't make sense. I don't think the developers are sound engineers out in the field. But now it works kind of as you would assume.
@ Felt disappointed paying to upgrade to v15. The added routing options and hotkey renaming makes it feel more worthwhile now. (Lots of volunteers using our board, so hotkey names were always a problem!)
... thx joe. but one thing: at 00:54 (for instance) you have routed the FX not only to group 1 but also to the LR bus. that's the reason why you here just the FX in the mains with group fade 1 down. or am i wrong?
You are right, I forgot to turn off the fx to the group. However, only difference is that the reverb is louder since it’s patched to both LR and Group1. The function is the same.
@ i m in touch with waves about local devices for a while and this is confirmed thing that in v15 will this function gone because is “obsolete” from v14. But in other hand i found sg asio driver buggy and nor reliable. And vb matrix just reveal all bugs woth they driver. Maybe this release (and sgdriver fix mentions) will solve the issue and local devices will be no longer needed. Because you can add sg driver into vbmatrix as well
Thank you Joe always 😊
My pleasure! 😀

Not a bad idea. And probably doable.

Thanks for the overview. Some great quality of life improvements.
Exactly. A few nice things to make life better :)
Some nice upgrades! Thanks Joe!
Yeah, nothing major but really helpful stuff.

Nicely done Joe!
Thanks :)
How to update????
Just start Waves Central and hit "Update" at the top.

3:39 and what version does he suggest you update the firmware to?
To my knowledge there’s not a choice here. It might be different if you build your own servers. In that case someone else might have answers?
Joe PLEASE, check if in this update is LOCAL DEVICES still there! Thank you!
Actually ... no. They are gone :(
@@joevegnathats sad! The most powerfull underhood feature that lv1 haD :(
I use it with VBmatrix (cool app to discover)
Yes I just found it a few weeks ago. Sad to see it go. I was hoping they would get it to PC as well, not just mac. But no.
