It was only easier to guess because I was like “It’s definitely one of those with the pit still in it because I know she can’t resist trying to replicate it” lmaooo excellent job as always!
I skipped to the end to see if I could see the cake one before watching it being made and wow that's extremely impressive. I thought there was no way it could be that one. My money was on the one with the shiny pit for sure. I've never seen an avocado pit that clean looking before.
I got them both right and honestly idk how I just thought to myself “this one has to be it because it just looks like she did it. And if that’s wrong then this one is it (cuz I didn’t know there were 2 answers)” and I somehow got it right
I also skipped to the end but guessed it correctly. I don't know how though😂. There was something about it( maybe the lines on it, idk). Anyways her cakes are looking fabulous as always❣️
I got the part without the pit because I could recognize the shade. And the part with the pit I was between the correct one and the one with a really *☆SMOOTH☆* pit. I guessed it couldn't be the really smooth one because you would never let a part of your cakes without texture and shades
I'm watching ur videos since 2019 and I'm still like " how can someone be this talented" you are super good at your work i mean ur the best in your field ❤️❤️
My Son is a very talented artist, like his Dad who graduated from Ontario College of Art in Toronto. My Son isn't interested in drawing or painting any longer. I first realized how talented he was when, like you, he drew a picture from a colouring book. It was Santa Claus, but with a weird twist; Santa was holding a pistol. I still have that drawing and for years wanted him to colour it. I think if he saw it now, he'd want me to toss it. You're a spectacular artist. I'm fooled 99% of the time with your hyperrealistic cakes!
By curiosity, when she told the story about how her family recognized her talent when she was a kid… anyone else thought like “damn my family never even acknowledged I exist, I can only wonder how that feels”? When you got issues it’s crazy what a cake video can trigger in your sick mind am I right? Lol loveeee them videos! ^^
I was tricked cause yours looked more realistic than the real avocados. Whenever you put the cake next to the actual thing, I’m not usually tricked because I saw you make it, so this was so good! You’re getting even better each week! Keep tricking me!
hi natalie! love your cakes :) commenting this again! i think it'd be cool if you made a rusty knife [or any rusty object] cake! i can't imagine how fun it would be to paint and sculpt all the textures and colors!
Love the content! I always enjoy watching you make and cut the cakes and it always looks so realistic! I am really amazed by this type of art and I really enjoy learning more about it! Can't wait for the next upload, bet it will be fire like always!
i knew it was cake bc it looked too squishy lol usually the cake never looks as firm as the thing it’s mimicking. I even skipped to the end bc watching her make it, I’d get it forsure lol. I love guessing if it’s cake or not.
Nathalie these are so impressive! I’ve been watching you for a while and these always blow my mind! (Also thank you Dave) I am 100% going to place an order for a hoodie and potentially a mug! Have a good day! KEEP UP THE HARD WORK! ♥
I guessed correctly. The skin looked greener than the rest of them, except for the one at the top. I almost guessed the top one, but that one didn't look like any of the others. On that subject, you did a great job making them look like two halves of the same avocado, I almost overlooked them, because I figured I'd be looking for two halves without a perfect match.
Yoooooooo avocados are a huge inside joke with me and my friends because my science fair project was LITERALLY TAKING PICTURES of avocados! 🤣 Love your videos Natalie!
My great aunt died when I was really young. So I didn’t know her very well. I didn’t even know she was an artist, and I grew up seeing her paintings everywhere. In grade school we had an art class that was next level. I loved it. My teacher showed my picture to the class pointing out my shading. I decided I should show my grandma since my teacher loved it. My grandma looked at my mom and said she draws just like Chloe. (Great aunt) she was an oil painter. That’s my favorite medium as well. I felt instantly closer to this aunt I barely remembered. Experiences like that help so much in being confident especially when your art doesn’t go so well. 😁Encouragement is key. I picked the wrong avacado!
I hyperfocused on those details and was like - Natalie ima guess that cake avacado first try But then she cut the OTHER avacado as well and i was like - WHAT ? Natalie has always succeeded in fooling me
When I went to high school, I didn’t have art classes for the 2 first years, there was no art classes, just dramatic art. I hated that, but for the rest of high school, we did have art. It was actually really fun.
I had two moments like your Rudolph chalk board situation. One was when I had recently downloaded an art app and after a few bad drawings of getting used to it, I decided to sit down and work real hard on a drawing I was passionate about. I showed my mom when I was done and she was like "oh yeah that's cool." I said "yeah it took me about two hours, and-" "Wait YOU made that!?" She said. She explained how she thought it was just a picture of some official art. 😊 The second one was more recent, also with my mom. It was where my dad was ordering an online piece of mine, and he showed my mom and she was like "oh that's beautiful!" And then I grinned and she was confused until we showed her that I made it. 😅
Took art all through high school drawing painting printmaking etc. and went to college for game design because I wanted to make games. I 3D model in Maya zbrush blender, texture in substance work in unreal etc etc. I actually haven’t touched a lot of traditional art in a few years painted, drew I still do it, I model with clay traditionally still (the zbrusher in me lol) and rn trying to teach myself wood sculpting. One of my high school art teachers was really proud of me getting into the college I went too. Won my first award because of her scholastic art awards, a sliver key, she also awarded me to rep the schools art department for another award. And I want to be able to show her the game I helped make for my senior thesis in college that we’re planning to release on steam soon.
Hey Natalie, a note on one of your techniques: You often directly transfer textures to modelling chocolate to get as close of a match as possible. But this results in the textures being inversed! Ant bump becomes a divot, and any divot becomes a bump! On some textures this might not matter, but it was noticeable to me on this cake. If you wanna go the extra mile for realism (and from watching this channel it seems you always do), you could transfer the texture to another surface first and then to your final modelling chocolate
I just want to say I LOVE the way you say avocado, I’m not trying to make fun of you or something but idk something’s different about you saying it I just 😆 I LOVE IT (not trying I be weird btw lol)
Hi. Would you mind addressing the fact that even if someone uses the color green in their cakes, doesn’t mean they stole the video. I feel really bad for this one creator because people keep accusing her of stealing. No hate towards you because this is NOT your fault. 💗
So I was guessing using the thumbnail before seeing the process so as not to cheat. You got me. As soon as I saw all of them together at the end clips I was like "wow the one I guessed was not it, it's those other two." Great work!
I got it, but only because I'm ocd and my brain carefully logged the blemishes you painted. Specifically the large brown spot in the one corner. If I hadn't seen the process I wouldn't have had a clue. Great work, you're awesome 😁
That story is kind of sad because it means they never believed you before that about the art you made? I'm probably just projecting haha, I'm glad it's remembered fondly now. Also beautiful cakes today! Looking just like the avocados in the salad station at my work !!
I picked both correctly before the reveal, but I was bouncing around before I said to myself "these two, final answer". I had a similar experience through school, being the art teachers favorite, starting with winning 1st place in an art contest in my kindergarten class.
I can still remember when I watched her 1st vid she had around 300K subscribers I was so impressed with her hardwork but I was wondering y isnt it popular and now i see her getting popular and very happy for her 🤩🔥
This happened to me at a restaurant when I drew a fish on a placemat without any reference material and my family were amazed because I clearly hadn’t traced anything.
For whatever reason, my score with these real or cake tests is 100%. Until this one. Got the cake on the left, missed the cake on the right. It could be because I skipped to the end to make it extra challenging since I wouldn’t know how many cakes there are, but I missed it all the same. Well done.
I almost teared up at the story about the chalkboard 🥺 people forget how far that validation goes in little kids. my heart is so warm
me too 🥺❤️
When the real avocado looks more like cake than the cake lol
Especially the one with a shiny avocado seed. I thought it was cake🤦🏽♀️
@@emilyruks me too that's the one I thought was the cake.
Please
It was only easier to guess because I was like “It’s definitely one of those with the pit still in it because I know she can’t resist trying to replicate it” lmaooo excellent job as always!
Yeah same I got them both right
I skipped to the end to see if I could see the cake one before watching it being made and wow that's extremely impressive. I thought there was no way it could be that one.
My money was on the one with the shiny pit for sure. I've never seen an avocado pit that clean looking before.
Same, I thought the shiny pit was looking so fake XD
Same. I'm still so surprised
I skipped to the end too! My guess was the first one she tried to cut, and it's also the first I realized that it's not a cake 😅😆
I got them both right and honestly idk how I just thought to myself “this one has to be it because it just looks like she did it. And if that’s wrong then this one is it (cuz I didn’t know there were 2 answers)” and I somehow got it right

It's crazy that she can make a cake more realistic than the actual food. You're very talented, keep up the great work!!
I think you are so talented! Never in a million years would I be able to make cakes like you.
It's about dedication. Everyone can be able to make at least something close to it with enough practice and hard work. It's not about talent at all.
*skilled
Sorry I just couldn’t-
These replies are pretty ironic considering Natalie was talking about art being her childhood talent in the video.
@@sponsoredbyavocados Talent can help early, but rn it's all skill and years of practice
@@sponsoredbyavocados Talent and hobbies makes you learn faster, but a lot experience is also needed.
Her hair is literally beautiful in EVERY video and every style
I would eat that whole thing without hesitation if Natalie handed me the avocado
I would've eaten it anyways, doesn't matter if it was avocado or cake🤣
I want to see Natalie make a violin cake! There are lots of intricate details, but I think she is up for the challenge! Like if you agree!
You have a talent for making things look MORE realistic than the actual object you've based it off
Psychologist: Who made you have trust issues?
Me: Sideserf cakes
Cakes in general make me have trust issues even though they are so yummmy
I got the part without the pit because I could recognize the shade. And the part with the pit I was between the correct one and the one with a really *☆SMOOTH☆* pit. I guessed it couldn't be the really smooth one because you would never let a part of your cakes without texture and shades

God bless you! I'm sorry your family life was so bad. I hope life is getting better for you.
As an artist, you inspire me so much. I’ve been drawing since age six and I think I have come a long way 😊
6:58 You can't tell me the one in the back isn't also cake! The skin is glossy, and the pit doesn't usually look like that.
The best part that I love about this is that earlier I said “Mum, are there any avocados?”
I was tricked cause yours looked more realistic than the real avocados. Whenever you put the cake next to the actual thing, I’m not usually tricked because I saw you make it, so this was so good! You’re getting even better each week! Keep tricking me!
I LOVE YOUR HANDS
YOUR WORK IS TOO GOOD
LOVE IT
The first one you touched with the knife I was like “ Yesssss” and that you switch to the second one(a.k.a the cake) and I’m like 😮
I love how many story times we’ve been getting lately. I love learning about you
hi natalie! love your cakes :) commenting this again! i think it'd be cool if you made a rusty knife [or any rusty object] cake! i can't imagine how fun it would be to paint and sculpt all the textures and colors!

You are an amazing artist!
I'm sorry, but Natalie herself is a masterpiece. I had to say it 😫

it was so shiny I was sure it was cake, she made the fake ones look more realistic than the real ones-
The shiny clean seed at the back threw me off.
Yoooooooo avocados are a huge inside joke with me and my friends because my science fair project was LITERALLY TAKING PICTURES of avocados! 🤣 Love your videos Natalie!

my mind is blown everytime xD loved hearing about your artistic background! As an artist myself it inspires me truly.

you are so talented , this is sooo hard to do ,everytime I try to do cakes its a big mess ,soo big thumb up to you!!
Loved hearing your story! Shows what can happen when you really stick with developing your talent. 😄
You are such a joy. You always bring some sunshine to my day. Thank you!

You totally fooled me! These avocados are some of the best hyper-realistic cakes you've made in my opinion, they're so good!!!
I really like how you make these cakes they are amazing
Natalie you actually motivates me to go on as a frustrated artist😂 I'm into cakes now but a little bit older
That dry erase / chalk board was my childhood! I had one exactly like it! I still love drawing to this day.
Amazing cake as always!
i can't believe i couldn't tell them apart. You're cakes are so amazing!
I can’t even describe how talented she is… JUST amazing!❤
YEY A NEW MONDAY CAKE IM SOO EXCITED TOO SEE THIS ALK 😊

This is such a coincidence! When I was little, I also was gifted a kid sized easle with a whiteboard side and a chalkboard for Christmas!
Love it
you’re so talented
I got BOTH right! I had the cakes locked in my brain and remembered what they looked like! Even the small brown parts
The avocado was really realistic but PLEASE do a pizza cake it would be great
Lovvve your videos, such a great moment when you drop the new one every Monday. Nice voiceover storys as well ❤❤
That story is kind of sad because it means they never believed you before that about the art you made? I'm probably just projecting haha, I'm glad it's remembered fondly now. Also beautiful cakes today! Looking just like the avocados in the salad station at my work !!
I love you for putting images on both sides of the mug for left handers like me! 🥺💕
Wow!! This is the first one to genuinely trick me so far!! (After watching her make it, that is LOL) Keep up the amazing work!!
I got so excited when she went to cut the cake thinking I got it right the fake out really got me!
Your almost to 3 million!! Congrats!! You deserve more!! 🥰💕
Your AWESOME 🤩!!!!!!!!!!!
Your so inspiring. Keep it up 👍🏻
( BTW your hair is so pretty! )
Bro, not only do we have the same name, but also the same love for making unique cakes!
I picked both correctly before the reveal, but I was bouncing around before I said to myself "these two, final answer".
I had a similar experience through school, being the art teachers favorite, starting with winning 1st place in an art contest in my kindergarten class.
I did not guess correctly! Amazing! I love your videos so much.
Amazing content 😊 Every week I can’t wait for your cakes ❤ I really hope you see this so you can consider my cake suggestion a sloppy joe cake?
Could you please do corn on the cob? Because the song lol
you had me fooled. I was guessing the one with the unnatrally shiny pit, and i was like: "come ON natalie, you can do better than that."
My high school class voted me “Most Dramatic”. Now I’m a part-time professional actress.
They KNOW!
I can still remember when I watched her 1st vid she had around 300K subscribers I was so impressed with her hardwork but I was wondering y isnt it popular and now i see her getting popular and very happy for her 🤩🔥
Well, I was completely wrong on both! What is with the real avocado with the shiny pit?! Never seen that before!
And now I want cake, dammit!
This happened to me at a restaurant when I drew a fish on a placemat without any reference material and my family were amazed because I clearly hadn’t traced anything.
5:18 Hey, I didn’t know she lived in Austin! Always love seeing a fellow Austinite!

You are born gifted ARTIST! ❤❤❤❤
cute story. When my niece was 5 she drew a Kathy comic, the size was too large for her to have traced the comic strip. Now she's a makeup artist
Love all your cakes! Amazing work!
❤ ur vids!
It's awesome you got supporr for your art early on. I think a lot more people would pursue art if they had that.
You should do one of an arcade machine that would be sick, maybe pacman
Me: That one's easy, this one just next the very brown avocado have a super fake-looking pit.
Natalie: cuts the cakes.
Me: Wait, it was not that one?!
Week 3 of asking for a half open van of tuna cake please!! Love your vids
wow, you know the Artist wins when you have to resort to guessing. fantastic job really
Somtimes it's a little bit obviouse which on is a cake. She somtimes adds to much detail that makes it obviouse. But I still LOVE her cakes
I got both right, but I never would have guessed two were cake if I didn’t know! Amazing as always!
Yes I can guess. And it'll be right. It's..........that one. Yup.
