I’ve been to hundreds of shows through the years . This one remains in my top 5 easily. Thrice ,Frank Ieros band , deftones and rise against was such a stacked lineup

This crowd has no clue what it’s witnessing right here. Thrice is an absolutely incredible band with insane song writing ability. Also Dustin’s scream/yell in Silhouette is insane. He has one of the coolest sounding voices out there.

I was at the stop in Tampa for this tour in June, and I can personally confirm that the crowd was just as bad there (especially later once everyone was drunk). During the concert however, this song played with some of the best timing I've ever seen. Being in Florida in late June, it was, of course, absurdly hot. The entire crowd was miserable. Then, somehow, it started raining, Almost at the EXACT same time that the beat kicked in in Hurricane. You couldn't just see it, but you could FEEL the relief SWEEP across the crowd. The energy of the crowd suddenly improved. Then, suddenly, just as sudden as it started, the rain stopped at the end of the song.
Just thinking the same thing. You know they're playing from the heart and love what they do if they can play and sing as if they were in front of a stadium full of die hard fans

I can't stop wondering how Dustin got his mic stand to stay standing at that angle. Does he have a tiny boom base at the bottom hidden by the monitor? Shouldn't it topple over? lol
I would like to just say Thrice's music is sort of entrancing, if you are familiar with them or not I don't think It's insulting to just be locked on and just taking in the sounds and visions. You don't have to be slamming around jumping around like an idiot to truly enjoy music. I understand heavy music and super metal stuff people like to start a pit and get crazy but Thrice has a type of sound that for me personally, feels classy and I just want to sit and be entranced by it.
We also live in a world where people are often made fun of for expressing themselves, I've talked to a ton of people after shows that just didn't want to look weird rocking out, so there's that too. It's just different times. I think everyone was still really enjoying it though. Just my weird two cents late at night browsing RUclips.
Yeah i personally dont go crazy at shows. I enjoy it as much as the next guy i just like to listen to the songs. Like you said their music is on a level that deserves a serious listen even though it does have such great energy.
TheRealConcertKing haha that's funny you say that. I went to the show solely for thrice and then found out later that rise against and deformed were going to be playing as well. Rise against was cool but I didn't realize how much I didn't really like deftones. Haven't given them a good listen since high school really
I agree, Thrice puts on a great show 100% of the time. The worst I've seen is a few missed lyrics on TIATA, but the crowd has Dustin covered on that one.
Silhouette such a beautiful love song. Like the story behind it also. Was a poem , made into song for Dustins wife! Half songs written today are trash or not even written by the band, same goes for choreography 🤔😭😂✔💯

Deftones are my favorite band, I love thrice but I went for deftones. They killed it in Concord on this tour.
Hurricane isn't my favourite on record but it hits hard live, then they hit harder with Silhouette; good combo \m/
ive seen some shady live performances of them where it seemed like their own songs were too complicated for them. but this is absolutely amazing
