I love this series ❤ Heres my contribution: - dark/gothic country - country which incorporates horror and dark elements into the music; bands such as "those poor bastards", "the abigails" and "the coffinshakers" - e punk - any form of punk shared mainly by the internet. Artists such as "steakfry", "dumb as rocks" or "penguinband" - atmospheric folk - includes any folk artist that creates an atmosphere, usually with soft vocals/instrumentals and slower tempo compared to normal folk. Artists such as "darkwood", "solanaceae", "neil halstead", "birch book" and "Sam Lee". - cosmic country noir - this one is a bit hard to define, it is a genre of country which has slow paced tempo, usually acoustic, with focus on existentialism. I can only recall one artist, "everytt willow", sorry 😅 - dark outlaw western - not sure if you already covered this one, but you can find the most proeminent songs in the "dark country" albums. One of the most proeminent artists is "blues saraceno", also "tombstone three" if I remember correctly. - punk blues - (you might have already done this one I am not sure) this one is pretty popular compared to the previous, and you can find a lot of what you need by searching for "punk blues" on google. Some bands are "soledad brothers" and "left lane cruiser" ** Thats it, some of these are pretty small and niche, but thats why I posted them here. I hope theres a part 6, I will be waiting!
i think you missed a big one for EDM, bass house (it’s super underrated and ASUNDER (they’re only on soundcloud) is a great example, their music is really good even for non-EDM listeners

Love the videos! I noticed a very niche genre missing that surprised me, which is American Primitive.. which arose from John Fahey and his love of primitive blues in rural america and eastern influences and he had a plethra of guitarists who were inspired by him, Mostly an instrumental genre with usually just an acoustic guitar and fingerpicking techniques
