I'm Xhosa and I've always been proud of the Queendom of Modjadji Royal House, I grew up knowing about the Rain Queen never heard of a Rain King. Somethings do not need to change, leave politics out of our culture.

As a Molobedu i was looking forward to a voice that'll rise and take on that council. They shouldn't have taken the route they're taking fighting for their individual survival, but think of our nation. They're upsetting everybody who's looking up to this Queendom as a model that says in Afrika we had always been non sexist, non misogynistic! This is so sad sad sad.

Talking about nonsexist, what is the problem with the price taking over the throne as the first born child of the late queen 🤷🏾‍♀️.

@@carol-leighlebudi1177 😂😂😂I see where ur going! It might have been less controversial had they enthroned him after the death of Queen Makobo, his mother, but still it woukdn't hold water. The culture goes that the first born daughter and not the first born son.The daughter maybe first at no 6 with 5 male siblings in birth seniority, but she'll be the one enthroned. In other cultures like Amazulu it's the firstborn son.I know U get it now.

@@carol-leighlebudi1177 Again the young Queen elect Masalanabo is still a minor at school under the care of the basic minister of education Mme Angie Motshekga and her husbsnd the Advocate Mathole Motshekga who has full custody of the Queen. The council wanted the Queen to come back home in the Palace, trying to dispute the custody, but the Motshekgas couldn't budge till the Counsil expelled Motshekga as their legal counsel.Dr Motshekga was elected by Queen Mokope,Queen Masalaanbo's granny,to be their legal counsel and to head the reinstallation of Balobedu ba ha Modjadji to a Queenship status.Dr Motshekga steadfastly lead this and by 2018 the Queen elect was introduced to Balobedu nation with jubilation all over.So the status is so high with financial perks i think that's why U see this ructions.Their course is not winnable in court,i think it'll be easily squashed!Again they're demonstrating childishness in that they're setting broether and sister at an unnecessary loggerheads!

Is the girl in question from the right family or it was just compromise? Are these people who are speaking on TV and radios coming from the real houses on which the queenship / kingship of Balobedu anchored on? The language is called Khelobedu or khelozwi. The peoples are Balobedu or Balovedu. They are found in towns like Tzaneen,Modjadjiskloof,Haernetzburg,Makhado and Giyani.lThe language is related to Tshivenda and its purest form is spoken in Tzaneen,ha Modjadji,ha Mamaila Mphotwane.Other areas like ha Sekhopo,ha Mamaila kolobe tona the language catches a lot of sesotho sa lebowa or what isrecently called Sepedi. The area is very beautiful, humid and has got beautiful mysterious valleys which will hold ur bteath if ur a nature lover.Balobedu descended from the Empire of Rozvi in Zimbabwe founded by the Priesthood of Mutota Mwanamatapa(monomotapa). The Empire became a central government stretching from Malawi,Zambia,Botswana,Mozambique,Zimbagwe abd the entire south africa. The Empire started to get weakened as do other Empires and eventually it lost it grip on power. There were internal strife like succession battles, they don't learn, till a Primcess called Leakhala/Zikutini broke off with her broethers and a mass of peoples through the Limpopo river.Balozwi is derived from Rozvi of Great Zimbabwe. The name Ba 'lobedu' is derived from the verb 'ho loba or hu lovha'which means 'to pay tax or to pay tribute',in Tshivenda hu lovha is to die.The greeting goes:'Nraa',the Vavenda greeting goes:'Ndaa'!😊😊
