I actually think Shadow of Colossus or maybe Thomas Was Alone have the best soundtracks in videogames. The music in those two matches up so well with what's going on in the game.

Asphalt 8 definitely had some of the best songs for the soundtrack no other Asphalt game afterwards could ever capture that same essence this one had. Edit: This song in particular made me feel so untouchable when racing in Tokyo!

I am surprised as hell that game which has a direct sequel is still continuing after nearly a decade has come so far to demonstrate it's purpose being different than it's successor. I mean the challenges provided in both games are different and are supposed to be that way except for a certain few. Still, this game will always be the beacon of the entire Asphalt series by gameloft. Fond memories and hardships passed by understanding the will to keep moving forward.
