It was ages ago, but I played 1, 2, and 3. I don't know exactly what I liked most about 2, but I remember not liking 3 as much, which is when I pretty much faded out of console gaming in general.
Theres a glitch for thrasher challenges not sure if its patched or not but u press the right trigger but not completely, than you no comply and it launches u in the air
Still is weird to see such a big name for the skate series no so little about the first two games 😅 hope youre enjoying skate two though. In my opinion it has definitly the best/more realistic map. And the bails are amazing without the stupid floating feature they decided to inbed in skate 3

If I remember correctly, you can land from any height if you do a 2 handed grab while hitting the ground. It stops you from bailing for some reason
That's in Skate 1 and apparently also 3 but it's extremely hard in 3.
In 2 it doesn’t work with all heights but if you melon at the perfect time before landing you shouldn’t bail

in the options menu you can change the camera to the high cam like from skate 3
