Dave has always been my favorite bloke...both gingers, but the blokes pulled me out of a very dark old man invalid place a few years ago with their channel and I am still chugging along now. Please like, support and spread the news. (Oh, and still give all you got for Mike and Daz at The Office Blokes! Now...on with the show...
I'm an American and when I was 8 years old my dad got remarried to my stepmom who is from England, and her whole family moved here, so I was suddenly surrounded by British accents... and I'll say, I started trying to talk like that whenever the family got together.
Ash I'm from Australia and your Aussie slang is perfect thanks for visiting you're welcome here in Australia anytime I love you so much you're such a beautiful amazing sweet person I liked and subscribed stay safe 💙
1:10 Dave plans his criminal carreer parachute
Yup as a 60’s hippie in the US I used that slang often. We used it in a number of ways mostly as a substitute for the word “WOW” mostly when you were stoned.
Fare out is like cool or wow for hippies
Ash starts going on about wind instruments, like "This one time, at band camp...". If you know, you know.... HIGHLY unsanitary!
Conan is brilliant
"Far out" - that's called a euphemism
yeah, and I'm pretty sure it originates in the US during the 1950's
No it's basically like saying wow.
We call "Burger King" 'Hungry Jacks" because that is what it should be.
I miss Ash's theme song! And I HIGHLY recommend reacting to Tim Minchin and Jim Jefferies! Those two Aussies are phenomenally hilarious! Specifically Tim's Pope Song and Jim's story about how he helped a disabled friend get a prostitute! Oh and if y'all go to Australia beware of drop bears! Those things will attack you from trees!
OB Dave: totally got the "wind instrument = butthole" joke.
I always thought that "Far out!" was "Fuck off!", like a sort of mirror universe Cockney Rhyming Slang, where instead, the first letters are the rhyme scheme.
Far out is basically like wow!
I thought Ash was an Aussie at first when I heard her speak.
You couldn't hear her obvious British accent?
Aussie fareout is more like Americans saying really. Like did that really just happen
I wanna know what Ash was putting in that rizzler. Now that sounds like a story. LOL
They don’t call it Burger King it’s called filthy jack or something like that
Hungry Jack
"Filthy Jack" lmao.
Weird how "far out" is considered Australian slang. That's like 1960s American slang. I feel like before the internet, US culture made to other countries much slower, so things the US stopped doing caught on elsewhere later. Like when looking at a star at night that might not even exist anymore
USA has "Igloo" coolers, slightly less racist than an "Eskie". Also the generic term is "cooler" even though that also covers the glass-front actively refrigerated displays at a shop. If you're nowhere near electricity then "cooler" would mean the portable ice chest based on context. Oh and "ice chest" is a slightly older term for the same. As usual probably regional as well.
Not racist at all. The actual meaning of racist has been totally corrupted by the younger generation. Just like the Washington Redskins football team name wasn't racist. I'm more than 1/4 native and have friends who are full blooded that were angry when they changed the name of the redskins. They all thought it was really cool to have a team named redskins.
Get ur hand off it.
Papers here in KY was just always papers. I mean you had the 1.25 or 1.5s, or brands really, Jokers were the cheapest. I guess I was just always specific. If you wanted "cigar" wraps youd just say wraps and see if they had a specific brand. I hate local terminology on a professional business level. Everything should be universal with many things. Even here in the States, I'm from the hills and we know universal terms. People can be big Ds
Video actually starts at 3:02.
Im on smoko
oh noes.. now the song stuck in my head :))
If you’re from Norway, you’re Norwegian. How come if you’re from Zimbabwe, you’re not Zimbabewgian?
You guys need to do Conan and Kevin hart at the gym. If you have done it please tell me!!
🤗New Zealand calls an 👍Excy a Chilly Bin.💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Mind reacting to Sub urban a bit more? He released a new song and it's pretty cool (A bit weird too)
Noouurrrrrrr
As an American, I can't believe that any English-speaking country thinks we have an accent. We are very easy to understand, whereas I have a hard time distinguishing the languages between the UK, Scotland,Ireland,Australia, South Africa etc... You all sound the same to me. And by the way, that Sheila had great gams.
Conan's Australian accent was whole other level of cringe. Lol
She ruins your channel…
Go back to OB… leaving was the worst choice you’ve ever made
Less Conan Please! Cheers.
Manta Sleep
hey redbeard why isn't your chanel called Ash and someone else
