This looks like it would be the most tonally confused comedy ever if it was real.
It’s somewhere between being a Comedy, and being genuine horror. It necessarily a Horror Comedy. Somehow a Movie that shifts between those 2 states.
And I'd love it!
Like how drama + comedy becomes dramedy? So like a horromedy?
So, basically, the Re-Animator series, Night of the Living Dead, or From Beyond.
Oops I mean RETURN OF the Living Dead not NIGHT OF.
Or Evil Dead 2 for that matter.
The part that really gets me is IT staring unflinchingly as Ben tries and fails to hit him with a rock.

Yea it's interesting you can tell they're going for a slightly different style of humor with this one. Tim Curry's Icarus was more of a crass crazy uncle dressed like a clown, while this one's more of an absurd man-child. Both are pretty effective tho

Same here! I'm not a horror fan, so I've never watched any version of IT. But if it was redone in the style of Bad Lip Reading? I'd watch the crap outta it.
