The verse about controlling your own fate instead of relying on ‘god’ could be Phish’s best lyrics of all time. Thanks for teaching me the intricacies. You’re a fantastic teacher
I am totally nailing this, thanks to your enduring dilligence, Colin. Thanks for putting this out there. Also I bought my Languedoc replica from a brilliant Luthier in mainland China of all places and it has all the bells and whistles. ive been impressed with all of it, Koa, ebony, bone, action, I would buy it again if I didn't already have one.
that repeated harmonic- he plays it once using a custom pedal he calls "one time" which loops a single phrase just by stepping on it before and after. His engineer made it for him. Also, love your teaching and thank you. You and I have exactly the dame guitar as well. groove on
Thanks for the lesson. Such a cool funky song. Question: I CAN play the chords and notes you lay out, but playing it with funky and consistent tempo is a challenge. Definitely doesn’t sound like the way you play it. Any tips on smoothing and refining the timing? Play with a metronome?
metronome metronome metronome!!! Step away from sand, practice strictly tempo and rhythm training with metronome, but utilize various speeds/tempos and time signatures. The better we get at the fundamentals of music, the easier it will be to apply in a practical/song setting!! Thanks Barrymohnfamily!

One does not simply acquire a Langedoc....
No, one does not, but that's about the sickest tribute guitar I've seen. The feedback sounds perfect.
Yeah Bud! Although not at this level, enjoyed the lesson.
Alan Letterman yeah bud! Much love
Nice Equator! David is a master builder! I love mine!! What wood?
