Hey this is NGSPirates22 you are correct with pulling inspiration from your first diorama build and from your Diorama build last time. I was trying more to go with realism with the lighting and the rock work. I was going to add a little segment of train tracks but thought of it after I submitted my build. Thanks for the pointers for the next challenge.
I made some of the curly letters flipped because I wanted to show words that felt more fantastical while still recognizable lol. awesome work everyone it was really fun to participate! looking forward to doing another one sometime
Wow! These maps are amazing! I made the "I Love Chicago Las Vegas" map and thank you so much for all the kind words. It's so cool to be included with all these awesome builders! You asked where the inspiration came from - I'm from Chicago and I've tried to make a Chicago map forever, but I would always get too caught up in the weeds and not be able to finish anything. My wife and I were in Las Vegas recently and the idea kind of struck me that if it was a hotel like New York New York, you can pick the most fun parts and be able to fill in gaps with hotels and gambling. Thank you again and again great job everyone!!!
Your Chicago map is fantastic! So many great icons of the city architecture, but then you also did some really nice interior theming! Looking forward to more of your builds!
Fantastic work this time around. Congrats to all the participants! I was particularily fond of the Grand Dunes Park. Cool theme and lots of great details in the build. The splashes of blue amongst all the sand tones is very easy on the eyes. Definitely my personal pick for a winner!
For the second entry from 999Ghost. I think the themes are jungle versus concrete jungle. Some stories like Tarzan, George of the Jungle, Jungle to Jungle show how big cities like London or New York are just concrete jungles and can be just as crazy to somebody from the actual jungle. That's just my guess though.

I also forgot to mention, to the person who make the Shibuya map - I've been to Tokyo a few times and your map made me smile so big - awesome job!!!
