    I had a 2022 model. Liked it. One thing that a few other anglers had problems with was the cover on the tackle storage compartment. The rivets pulled out. Didn't like the starboard side as well as far as on deck rod storage. As you said had to have a rod that's under 7'. Stay Saf & God Bless!!

    Love my Tracker! Have you experienced moisture in the storage compartment with the electronics? We’ve been caught in a few really bad storms where the depth of the rainwater covered the floor. Everything in the compartments got wet. The compartments in mine (former interior layout) are not sealed boxes. Sections of the floors of the front compartments have openings or gaps under the carpet. Water from the hull can rise up into the compartments and can evaporate and condense in the compartments. It can develop a serious mildew problem if not thoroughly dried. On the trailer, the lowest section of the hull is under the front deck and can retain water. Keep an eye on the bottoms of the compartment lids for moisture accumulation.

      @JT_70 i never noticed. I fished with it in some gnarly rain. When I park it in my shop, I always open every compartment and leave them open for a few days to air out just in case.

    Just watched your video. Glad you like it. Little advice to you to help you enjoy your Tracker. Pat attention to your bunks on the trailer. Its what you don't see sometimes that counts. I have had 2 175TXW one with carpet and one with the vinyl decking. I had a bad fall when it rained on the vinyl deck. The trailer is a real problem on the bunks. Tracker uses cheap yellow pine wood and believe me it will rot quick. Keep an eye on it and the side guide on pads. Just trying to be a friend and hope you all the best. I was able to step up and get me dream rig a New Ranger and no regrets. I don't like White River Marine Group who owns Ranger Triton Nitro and Tracker boats. Johnny Morris owns it all but I don't think he knows about the cheap wood. I like his policies and shop in his stores here in south central Florida. The return policy is great. I had a 3 year old reel that was not working right so I took it to Tampa store to have them send it off for repairs. The store manager said no, just pick out a new one and enjoy. I was not expecting that. Anyway, good luck. I have pressure treated wood bunks under my Ranger. Now they will tell you it is against Missouri State law to use pressure treated wood but that has been fixed by the lumber manufacture on pressure treated wood. Believe me on this. All of the named brand boats that they own the trailers are farmed out to a trailer company there in Arkansas. Ranger use to build their own trailers till Johnny Morris bought them out. Anyway, I had that boat lifted up and new bunks put on. You can actually do it yourself very easy if you look at some videos. I am too old to do it. Anyway again, hope this helps you.

      @rogerglasco5941 thanks for the advice. Every time I park my truck after launching, I check all the bunks. Im in commiefornia, im sure they have a law about pressure treated wood also, but oh well. Im looking into getting a ranger z20 in the near future.

    I have the same boat, in black. My biggest complaint is the front deck space. Ive stepped on two reels so far this year and broke one of them. I would like to see the fuel tank moved to under the seats and leave some more room in the back.

    • @juliusoutdoors2895
      @juliusoutdoors2895  10 месяцев назад +3

      Thanks for the sub! The fuel tank moved under the seat would be awesome. I dont know why they didn't make more storage under the seats. Im sure it wouldn't be too hard.

    Thanks for your video! I bought my first boat last year. Almost the same boat, its the 2023 175 TXW Tournament edition. Came with upgraded trailer, 24v trolling motor, and possibly others I'm missing. Wondering if you ever planned on putting power poles on your boat. I'm looking to purchase 2 power poles, but here is my dilemma. In the back of the boat where you have your fire extinguisher, I have my battery charger system (possibly a great spot for the hydraulic pumps. My question is if your planning on putting power poles, where would put the pumps if that compartment isnt available.

    • @juliusoutdoors2895
      @juliusoutdoors2895  10 месяцев назад +2

      Im going back and forth on power polls. I was looking at the all electric lewmar axis. No pump or hoses. You would need a spot for the small power box, though. I know someone who has them, and the only downfall i seen is that it takes about 10 seconds to fully deploy. But for the price, it works well.

    I have the same boat with a Livescope setup and I would highly recommend getting a separate lithium battery for your front graph and black box in that rod locker eith the black box. They draw too much power for the stock battery and the battery will die. I also noticed a huge improvement in clearing up the interference while using Livescope and getting a better picture.

    • @juliusoutdoors2895

    thanks! I have a 170 now and looking to upgrade to either the 175 like that (white) or maybe a 190 with the 115 not sure yet ... the 170 is for sure a good first boat and some of the stuff that drives me crazy about it is solved on the 175s - storage speed, ride is rough ----- you are right about that edge the thing couldn't really move my 170 around let a lone a bigger boat. good video thanks. I also like trackers they are good for the price you pay , for someone who fishes for fun and doesn't have (or doesn't want to spend the 50-70k for a "good" boat these get you on the water

    • @juliusoutdoors2895
      @juliusoutdoors2895  10 месяцев назад +1

      I would skip the 175 and get the 190. They have a bit more room and power. But, i am not disappointed with my 175. The pros in this boat make up for the cons for sure.

      The cheapest Vexus AVX is almost $20k more expensive than the 175TXW. Some people don't want to spend $40k+ on a bass boat.

      Honestly, it was not a money issue that made me buy this boat. It was the warranties and availability. Im happy with it, and it does everything i need it to do. Maybe I'll look into the vexus when i decide to upgrade.

    • @johnemrey9877
      @johnemrey9877 10 месяцев назад +1

      @juliusoutdoors2895 Vexus has a lifetime hull warranty and a minimum of 2 years on everything else. They were hard to find when I bought mine in 2021 but worth the effort. Not a entry level fishing boat but won't break the bank either
