Hi Phoebe and Matt, how are you doing? Did you have a good past few weeks to relax? In the meantime that you were taking a break, I booked my flights and tour for my Australia trip. I’m flying in to Adelaide in February and take a Road2Adventure tour all the way from Adelaide to Perth, then to fly out from Perth in March. Looking very much forward to it. Now back to the video. You must be in heaven with the spicy food Phoebe, and I was happy to hear Matt making some nice jokes in front of the camera. Also, the lake is gorgeous and the place you stayed in was pretty decent as well. Thanks for sharing this trip with us and have a great week ahead 🤙

If you haven’t already, there is a place near Lake Baroon called Secrets on the Lake - exceptional place to stay, really special.

Wow, your earlier video made us visit Sunshine Coast Hinterland in April. In fact we stayed at beautiful Spicers Tamarind, but didn't dine there. Looks great and brings back sweet memories.

@@travelforphoebe the stay at Tamarind was great. The cabins are big and comfortable. The restaurant we used for breakfast, but will keep you tip in mind. We did stay at a few other Spicers as well. I would like to recommend Hidden Vale in Grandchester (an hour west of Brisbane), which is an really nice place of the beaten track, which also has a superb restaurant. You'll love it.

Mt Ngungun is our favourite mountain on the coast, especially prior to the track upgrades where you had to scramble most of it. Our kids loved the adventure and sunrise is even more spectacular if it’s foggy. Kondallila is equally beautiful. I agree, smashed avo is the best really!
I might have to attempt it in the warmer months - I just can't be getting up at 4am in the freezing cold to do it haha! But you've totally sold me on it - I really want to do it :)
Spicers Tamarind is sooo awesome. We stayed there literally a couple weeks ago and literally tried everything on the menu. Splurged extra on the whole fish and don’t regret it. The pandan panna cotta was awesome. Was glad to see stuff we literally did. The food at Edge was surprisingly good, with views

My granddaughter never ate any veges except corn and raw carrot when I looked after her .. It was only when I talked to her mum to find out that she actually ate a few more but CHOSE to tell me that she didnt like anything else .. she is still a bit picky still as an older teenager

Mine was Prawns! And beetroot. Love them both now though. Make sure I don't force my son to eat anything because I was traumatised for so long!
Oh my gosh! It's so good you were able to get past it and learn to enjoy them again :) haha I hear that! We were talking to my mum about it this morning and she said her mum (my Nan) used to force feed them tripe - that wins, hands down! That's the worst! No wonder she's vegetarian now haha
