@@andrewreno6424 damn me to lol. F$%& you greg miller. Tim's a bitch not mad at nick just disappointed. But greg exposed himself to b the biggest disingenuous sack of shit he is
I've been following Colin very closely on his side of the events and not much was added here, what was so important to me was hearing the rest of the groups thoughts on what happened as they have been pretty vague about it until now. To hear how Greg, Tim and Nick felt during that time, how they were impacted, how they didn't fully understand the situation or the best way to help Colin was really the moment I was looking for. Very real, very honest and very different from each other. This is what I was missing and is good enough for me. More than just us, I am glad they can close this chapter and continue moving forward for themselves, they needed this as much as we did.
Absolutely. Also colin has said numerous times when other people have said stuff to him on twitter to not attack guys on his behalf so im not really sure what they could have done
They could have had his back. They could have instead of apologizing for the tweet that offended nobody, said its a joke, ofc Colin isn't a sexist, move along.
@@btyler423 around similar views but Collin is for sure making more on patreon. Also, KindaFunnyGames has high production value and a lot of their money is for sure going towards their fancy studio, so I'm sure they're not getting paid as well. Then when you compare to Last Stand Media's low production, most of their profits can go straight to their paychecks tbh.
Colin at the end "I'm never gonna see you again!" (jokingly) Greg, trying to hold back tears "I know!" (jokingly) ... And then ... They never saw each other again..
I mean, yeah he was trained as an engineer. But he's been a science educator and president of the Planetary Society for years doing reserch. I think that merits him as being a scientist.
Engineers apply science while scientist develop science. Both have distinct perspectives. Engineers will make stuff work while scientist will have a deeper understanding of phenomena.
This is so sad man, hearing Greg say “Colin will never be a dirty word”. “You are family and are always welcome back”. That is the absolute opposite of what happened, but I believe Greg 100% that he meant all this at the time, what happened? This just isn’t fair, where is the transparency man.
Greg moved his life on and forgot his friend imo. He found the hot wife of his dreams and got married, he didn't care anymore. He changed. That's my take anyway. But also I think colin discussed the breakup further on other podcasts and perhaps he said something that just didn't set right with Greg. Either way I wish they would make up. But maybe they are both happier than ever now. Although I think colin still misses greg and I'm unsure if Greg feels the same.
The woke mindvirus is what happened. That's the reason why Colin can still be friends with someone like Chris Raygun(who is pretty progressive) and Greg secluded himself in a progressive echo chamber. When you're truly woke you're not allowed to reach across the isle and be friends with people on the other side. They'll excommunicate you if you do that.
@@tonylavagnaart3865 Can you explain what happened ? I came back cause of nostaglia and trying to figure out why they separated and the current state of things lmaoo
@@tonylavagnaart3865 thanks for the breakdown, I finished watching this pod and then his podcast with Jaffe explaining more on the situation and the fallout. Yeah I mean, It sucks that it all turned out the way it did but I think it was better for Colin anyway. Although his comments and views could be extreme at some points, I always felt that his opinions came from an objective, logical, and genuine place. He also exhibits a lot of self awareness, and for that reason I think he was feeling outed from the group for a while and finally just said fuck it ima just leave when he did the tweet and nobody was there to back him up. Especially, in the podcast with Jaffe in which he said during this time he was going through alot of shit, I think it was one of the most self-aware and responsible decisions he couldve made, that would not only help him, but also help KF in the long run. The fact that KF said they saw it that way too in this pod, but then went completely ghost on him after is super fucked. And 2017-2020, was the PEAK of cancel culture, so it sucks they didnt have his back.
Greg now refusing to talk to Colin, makes a mockery of the “best friend” motto. Colin was there during Greg’s cancer, he helped build this business, and now he’s given the cold shoulder. This whole episode is a sham
I didn't even realize when I watched it years ago, that that's what happened and then I took a break from kinda funny. Then damn, I come back. They have the "kinda funny podcast", but then....I discovered something happened while I was away...and apparently I missed the ENTIRE internet's reaction to it. What a rock I was under.
Recent Kinda Funny fan here. Went back in time to see the beginnings: Conversations with Colin, GameOverGreggy show. I fucking love Colin. His topics were often intellectually stimulating and it seemed he wasn't afraid to speak his mind on things that really matter. Obviously, it's heartbreaking what happened with these guys. The most resounding thing for me is to see the real love that seemed to be there, specifically between Greg and Colin, dissolve so quickly. It really is like a divorce. When they build their brand on being "best friends" and being genuine and transparent, I can't shake the feeling that there was something more that happened behind the scenes or this was something brewing for a long time. The audience probably doesn't deserve to know, but this vow of silence is frankly frustrating. I don't need to see them make content together again, but I just wanna know if they could be friends again.
You should listen to the recent Podcast of Sacred Symbols Plus interview with David Jaffe that came out this week. It has some insight to more what happened.
@@ibitaRaptor FUCKING insane that tim felt that way about colin. let alone greg let tim talk that way to colin. Its insane, and davd jaffe saying how different greg is off camer kinda freaked me out lol. i feel like the dude is just stone cold in person
To the four of you: thank you for doing this. I have a deep and abiding level of respect for each of you, especially for Colin and Greg, who I have followed since Beyond episode #4. I don't chime in very often, participate in the forums, go to Kinda Funny Live, etc, so I'm not even sure if the Best Friend label can honestly be applied to me, but I care very deeply about the work you all have done over the last decade. I'm so thankful to have been a part of it, for the literally countless hours of sheer joy, jokes, fun and laughs. Even though you'll likely never know me, I feel like I know you, and who the four of you (and Kevin) are has brought much happiness into my life. Thank you so very much for doing that. While I'm sure there is more behind the scenes stuff that we don't know and may never know, I feel the four of you are being genuinely authentic and transparent. There's not another community / company out there that I can think of that provides this level of transparency. And while this episode gave me a lot of closure, and it appears that there is a lot of good to come out of all this, I also admit that there is still just a hard knot of grief inside of me. For both Kinda Funny, and for Greg and Colin. A world without this dynamic duo seems just a sliver less bright, despite the good things that will likely come in the future. I think it's just going to take a while for the sting of it all to work itself out. If I'm feeling it to this extent, I can't imagine how the four of you are feeling. I truly hope, once things settle down, that there will still be some collaborations in the future. Hopefully these thoughts get through before the avalanche of comments when this goes public. I am a proud supporter of Both Kinda Funny, and Colin Was Right. As long as you are all making content, you'll have my dollar, providing I'm not penniless :) Looking forward to continuing this journey.

@@BROWNMIST44 sometimes it takes a while for the real hurt to catch up with you. Doesn't mean you were lying when you thought things were different. One thing I know about Greg is that he is always too optimistic, to a fault. But as it turns out everything is fine. Colin & Greg apart, have found better audiences more attuned to their individual differences and styles than they were able to together.
@@clinteastwoodmadmax It was not a case of forgetting. They didn't like his politics and threw him to the wolves to rid themselves of any guilt by association for a tweet he made and someone who they wouldn't have been able to get rid of otherwise.
@@preyingocelotgames4397 yeah 3-4k views and 3-4 times that on patreon. sorry but it is funny how he made an even better show on his own and makes bank on patreon
@@preyingocelotgames4397 13K patreons for Last Stand Media, with fewer employees and far lower overhead costs vs. 5K patreons for Kinda Funny... Colin is doing extremely well for himself. Unlike KF, he doesn't reeeeally have "employees" either, more like contractors, it would seem, for the most part. A few may truly "work for" Colin, like Dustin, but people like Chris and Cog and Matty etc I think are just paid per episode. So needless to say, Colin makes bank compared to anyone at Kinda Funny (and way more than he ever would have hoped to make if he stayed at Kinda Funny). He's also probably way happier than if he stayed at Kinda Funny, not just because of the money, but because they clearly have fundamental philosophical differences on how to run their companies.
Hot take: the rest of the guys totally underestimated Colin's importance to the group. He balanced out the nonsense with real-talk and substantive ideas without being pedantic or lecturing. The fact that they kept downvoting him 3-1 just makes me angry more than anything.
Years later and This still feels dirty man, Kinda Funny hasnt felt the same since. "Best Friends" Threw a real friend under the bus. The fact Colin ain't been back on speaks volumes.
Colin even stated on one of his podcasts that he reached out to Greg to patch things up and Greg wouldn't respond 🙄 "best friends" doesn't have meaning anymore its a dirty corporate slogan
Question. On the first episode of the GameOverGreggy Podcast, Tim brought the topic of “Disney Princess Fucklist” to the table. How is that not considered worse than the tweet Colin put out?
@@CPIPER123 Exactly. The Tweet was just an excuse to attack someone they already wanted to attack. It's kind of funny how much a certain crowd hates Colin. His name is LITERALLY banned on Resetera. They act like he's fucking Voldemort. I just looked up an old locked topic there about him because there's this one quote that cracks me up due to how stupid it is. One guy asks "Other than the sexist tweet, what did Colin Moriarty do that earned such a strong backlash? " and this other guy comes in with a list of reasons and one of the reasons is(I shit you not): " He also has a strong distaste for black people.". LOL. Wut? @@BrandonHeat243 that's definitely far from the truth. He actually had a lot of black friends growing up. Unbelievable how far people will go. In my 12 years of listening to him, I've never heard anything remotely racist from this man.
Wanna know what's crazy? When I first saw Beyond I really didn't like Colin. but with time watching conversation with Colin, beyond, GOT and so on I started to like him more and more. He was my favorite from this group. The show not gonna be the same. I'll miss the political topics and such. Shit I'll probably leave here and just go watch his show from now on!
I come back and watch this every so often and every time I break. My life was amazing during this time because of Colin and Greg. I'd love to see them in a show one last time
Being political isn’t something the other three can be. Don’t be sour on KF. They have flourished without him and Colin has absolutely flourished without them. It was a beneficial split. They could have let him go or self-destruct. All things considered, Colin made a joke that they couldn’t get behind, and good on him.
@@TonyMezaXD they have slipped. KF just isn't as funny anymore. Idk I think it's the whole woke PC thing. Yea they have more shows. That aren't as good as previous shows. KF/AF perfect example. Great show nick and Andy had good chemistry, nah let's make it a side show with andrea talking about how amazing the last season of Game of Thrones is cuz it empowered woman. Blessing is as interesting and funny as watching paint dry. Nah they aren't the same
What Greg said about their passions and visions taking them in different directions was totally true, but it didn't need to be a messy break up. All the kinda funny guys needed to say was I vouch for my friend, even if I don't agree with something he said. Greg and particularly Tim are emotionally undeveloped and couldn't express themselves in a healthy way. Tim clearly has issues with Colin being more liked and respected than him even though Tim is way more committed to the cause.
Nick starting at 1:19:20 is what I am glad was verbalized. I was in a recent situation where my best intentions didn't match with the wishes of who I was trying to help, and they didn't see that. Same here, where they're not "sorry for what they did or didn't do," but apologetic that they didn't see exactly how to help Colin in the way he needed it the most in the time. Very important. Happy to see each venture in the future; both KF and CLS!
Day1Edition That may be the case in the public sphere, but I feel like that would have been done behind closed doors. Colin explained on Rubin that he wanted that public support, but didn't say that support was competing nonexistent. It would have nice if they Greg and Tim stressed that here, as Nick did (who may or may not have done so privately).
I think Tim's a good guy. Hell,I think they all are. However, without Greg, I don't know if Kinda Funny would survive or not. Personally, I don't think so. When I think of Kinda Funny Games, Greg comes to mind.
What makes this even worse over a year later is you watch this and Greg is talking to him like he’s still his friend, and then when Colin tries to reach out to him in the future he basically abandons him. Haven’t watched a single kinda funny video since. Greg and Tim sold their souls for fame, which to be honest is what Tim wanted but I genuinely thought Greg was a better person than that
Lol if that's what you think then you clearly didnt watch the video. Tim does nothing but praise Colin and says the idea of him being a sexist etc is ludicrous
No one sold their souls. They stayed true to themselves. And we're all the better for it. Colin was butting heads with the rest of the group, that can be good for a time, but if its the constant dynamic it can cause problems. In the end Colin is making better content more in tune with his voice and vision, and he seems to have built a good community around him. And the rest of KF is making better content in that voice and vision than they ever have. If you were into both, there is twice as much, and if you were only in to one side of the coin, now its better.
I fucking love Colin's honesty and candid nature, I wish he was like this on all KF stuff in the past... although i guess that wouldn't have worked and probably would have caused issues even earlier. It's a shame he as to go but I will continue to watch and support both KF and CLS together because they can live together in this great space we call the internet. I really love just how honest everyone seemed this episode -- but oh boy am I worried for the vocal minority to see this next week.
Anyone who can even remotely read between the lines can see clearly that Colin was hurt by his friends not standing up for him in any way. I was disappointed in them and it didn't even happen to me. He's just trying to handle the situation maturely and not burn bridges unnecessarily.
He should've been like fuck you to all the guys and just left, it makes us look bad the people who stood up for him. It's like we're overreacting and he's just pretending nothing ever happened. I hate people who play the middle, fuck that shit
Yeah I saw that too. The other 3 really tried to downplay some of his points too, especially when he started talking about how the gaming media (Polygon for example) are in a liberal echo chamber, out of touch with most gamers. The guys needed this video to make it look good for them that they are all pals now. But like you said, read between the lines.
You either believe that Colin is a man of integrity who presents himself honestly or you don't. As he said himself, if he had stayed on you wouldn't have really got the real him. So if you think you need to read between the lines, then you are basically deciding to take the side of someone you acknowledge doesn't care to share the truth with you. I believe Colin has more integrity than that, so I choose to believe in what he has said about this .
Even after all these years it still breaks my heart what they did to Colin over a tweet, I thought these original 5 were going make history. Ive watched them from the day they left IGN and got interviewed by gamespot. I remember going to KF Live 2 looking up at the balcony VIP and seeing these guys look so happy and proud of what they made. It really was something I wish never ended.
@@Basheerrko On international women's day there was a trend where people were doing #Adaywithoutawomen where it basically was people explaining all that would be gone without women Colin tweeted Peace and Quiet and then the hashtag, obviously, an off-color joke but people point to it completely about why Colin stopped at kinda funny, it was kinda obvious in months even the year leading up that Colin was kinda drifting away from Kinda Funny anyway. There was other drama that followed Colin did an interview on Joe Rogan after and kinda just said that Kinda Funny threw him under the bus, while Greg and the others had to deal with the fallout of Colin making a dumb joke and Greg says this was one of the most stressful periods of his life thinking that the company he built would fall apart and crash because of this joke. I don't really know where I come down on it, it's kinda just a benign joke and if were being honest worse things have been said by basically every member o the podcast but also context matters and making the joke on international women's day was in bad taste.
@@WaffleOnTheRun the joke was not in bad taste. That's the dumb opinion that led to Greg betraying his friend. "Ah peace and quiet" is a clear joke, and no rational person actually thought Colin doesn't respect Women. This whole "controversy" was Greg caving to the SJW lunatics that can't take a joke. Absolutely pathetic. Then he totally degraded as a person the more he engaged in self loathing, white guilt, male guilt, etc. He's turned into a caricature. I used to love Greg. Colin never changed. Greg did. And threw his supposed best friend under the bus.
Its honestly damaging to the company. Colin was the one person who didn't agree with every other group member and it made interesting discussions that wouldn't have happened if he was a yes man like every other group member
Bravo Colin, good on you. Leave because it's true. When push came to shove no one had your back. They preferred the company's rep instead Of a friends back. In my eyes that's disloyal. It's kinda funny...I actually stopped watching them after Colin left.
Do you think that 6 years later Tim cringes at the "hardest two weeks of my life" comment? Because it still to this day baffles me that those words left his mouth. I dropped my patreon that day and never went back. KF have never recovered from that moment. Subs and views in 2023 tell the tale.
Colin essentially went off to create identical content to what he was producing with kinda funny which shows that there was no difference in vision but rather a personal feud. They act friendly here but there was real animosity between them.

You should check out the first sacred symbols+ episode that Colin did with Jaffe, I think it's the first time he had spoken about some of the finer details of the situation and the lead up to it. They talk a lot about the KF split and how Colin has reached out to Greg multiple times and Greg basically wants nothing to do with him. He goes pretty in depth, mentioning things like how Tim didn't even want Colin to join KF when they split from IGN, very interesting stuff.
This sucked 3 years ago and it sucks today. I’ve moved on from it but Colin and Greg were always such a good dynamic. Colins slingshot analogy was perfect though. As Greg added, when Colin let go, KF flew to the absolute other side.
At 1:55:18 when Greg starts “crying” and says I love you, the way Colin responds and how he jokingly said “I’ll never see you again”...maybe I’m reading too much into it but I’ve always felt that Colin knew it was the truth. Makes me sad man, they were a great team. Sucks they had to do him like that.

Joel Gottlieb I cannot agree enough. People want a very black or white answer. This is a group of people with different interests and passions. Colin would have done this eventually, and in an odd way, this tweet sped up the process and has probably "helped" Colin. Why hate if everyone is happy?
Said that from day one if you think back to the show just after they visited Rooster Teeth for the first time and they were talking about how Kinda funny should grow the others kind of liked the idea of being more like RT while Colin wast he only one who said he not like that
I don't think I have ever seen Nick be so real - I enjoyed seeing that side of him. I still cant agree that the guys think this is the best for both parties going forward. Loosing Colin is a nightmare situation for Kinda Funny and fans that have been with the guys since the beginning. It's a shame that they say its been 3v1 for a while but I suppose that was clear to see with the way things ended up. I hope this episode helps to being back some positivity to the community and maybe extinguish the like / dislike tug of war. If people cannot get over Colin no longer being a part of Kinda Funny and feel that the content is not the same or not for them without Colin then they might need to move on, because fact is...Colin has gone. Sticking around to hit dislike will not bring him back. Thanks for the episode guys, Thanks to Colin for coming back and giving us some closure. I'm sad to see him go.
Alot of people felt like KF was the last game media they connected with and they lost that in the last month.I really dont think KF will survive this cuz they are now the exact same as everyone else covering games.
+dee worley Exactly. Since they split I have been looking for a new one. Still havent found one, and nothing will replace it yet. I started listening to beyond when I was 16, and I am 26 now.
Tim lacks conviction. The fact that he claims he didn't know what to do shows he wasn't sure whether to support the crowd or defend his friends character. Is Colin's or any humans character able to be defined by a single tweet? I would wager no 99.999% of the time, but Tim lost faith in Colin's whole character over that one tweet over the years of evidence that Colin was a good person. The guy is fake or, at the least, has no thought of his own.
Argh, that hurts to watch. I still hope some day they pick on on each one's slack and apologize to each other or something. They were great friends and I feel like this issue was hugely exacerbated by the angst of the Trump era where people didn't trust each other anymore.
@@linkenski Colin apologized a couple of years ago and Greg told him they couldn't be friends again. That's as best as I understand it. @@CurtisDillon92 It always was, but I don't think Greg told Colin they couldn't be friends. I think that he turned down Colin trying to reach out because it's not the right time or climate for them to start talking again. He's still running Kinda Funny. If he started being publically buddy with Colin people would start lambasting him over it. That's also what this is. He chose between a controversial friend and his business and he chose the business, and its easier going friends. He liked Colin but in these polarizing times opinions are actually keeping them apart.
Abraham M. He still is their friend. They're grown adults who aren't going to just suddenly stop being friends over something so petty. If you think they'd stop being friends so easily, I'm very sorry that you clearly don't understand how real friendship works. You get into fights, disagreements, say things you may or may not regret and so on, but real friends talk it out and compromise. As these guys did.
I think it’s amazing that Colin put aside his justifiable rage and bitterness to come on this show one last time for us fans. I think what happens to him wasn’t fair but I also think it was the perfect timing for him to leave and now he’s moved onto far more better things. I’m just sad over the Miller-Moriarty friendship ending like this...I hope one day they can talk to each other again and realise this nonsense was never bigger then the bond they had.
the fact that they felt they "had" to apologize for the tweet from Colin and not for the list list for Disney Princess they would fuck says a lot to me. They started the company so they could say whatever they want......
Fuck... Seeing Colin actually sitting there feels so fucking right!! I'm going to miss this. I always pictured going on the show with all of you. It sucks that's no longer a possibility. Same with the rest of you. All love
Absolutely, and in all honesty with this transitional period until kf gets passed this awkward phase, i take the opportunity any time there is a show that isn't totally 'up my road' so to speak, to look up all my favourite episodes of this guys. Things like the critical role episode, the episodes with kara/daemon/brian altano/lexi to hold me down. With that said i wish nothing but the best for all involved. "He'll be back again, I'm sure one day." Not once has he been Back and after listening to Colin and Jaffe episode it's not like Colin hasn't reached out and not once has he been offered to come back on. Even after all new faces at kinda funny and new branding and new bullshit. I stopped listening to kinda funny after Colin's depart because I realized it wasn't "four best friends gathered around this table" it was just co workers who don't really care and two faced people who never cared. I proudly support Colin in everything he does now and i don't even agree with alot of his views or opinions but he's an actual good dude and a down to earth person. Greg and Tim's ego has inflated so much since colin left its not even funny. Pun intended. And please a conversation with Tim? You mean the guy who said he'd fuck disney princesses? Who are I'm sure underage and the whole idea is completely inappropriate isn't worse then Colin's tweet? Not to mention the sexist remarks Greg has made on camera? Oh but it's all in fun and all in jest. When one of your friends needed you most you turned your backs. And yalls content will NEVER be as good as it could be. Colin's opinions and views rounded the idea that was kinda funny. Now it's just unbalanced opinions and views with off handed jokes and ego driven conversations degrading anyone who isn't Tim cause Tim knows right. As a newer KF fan, it has been pretty wild to learn about Colin and Greg's brotherhood and eventual falling out. Watching this just feels so... awkward. It feels like Greg is trying so hard to sell the audience on the idea of Colin wanting this so badly at the beginning of this.
Tim’s the worst person at Kinda Funny, he has no conviction, no backbone. He will get behind whatever the “popular vote” is. Even to this day he puts the least amount of substance in the conversations, you can tell he’s not real about the things he says most of the time.
Better than that manipulative weasel Colin who left on the premise that he would be pursing intellectual interests, but quickly returned to gaming to become a direct competitor of KF. The pity party over the tweet was milked so hard to launch his new project.
@@OMAR-vq3yb The way they ALL turned there back on him, did not come to his aid or support him at all. I don’t see Colin in the wrong at all. Not even saying they should fight on a hill they don’t believe in, just on the point that our “best friend” is suffering right now and we should support him. Tim never added any substance to this conversation and the few times that he did speak he made it about himself. I loved Colins sarcastic “sorry to hear that” response when Tim said “this has been the worst 2 weeks of my life” like really? Are you leaving the company that you confounded? Are you getting attacked relentlessly online? I understand that Colin didn’t do exactly what he set out to do but maybe he had a change of heart and decided that games were actually his passion. For Nick and Greg I have nothing but love but when it comes to Tim I just see him as a fucking pancake that will flip to whatever side is the hottest so he can get the most heat of cultural relevance. At least Nick and Greg have shown some examples of something they will stand for no matter who disagrees. Tim has not once done that, that I have seen atleast. Unless it has something to do with how great the fast and furious movies are or how much he’d love to fuck the Disney princesses. Which also leads me into this, HOW IS WHAT COLIN SAID WORSE THAN THE TOPIC THAT TIM BROUGHT ON THE FIRST EPISODE??

They did thank Colin during Kinda funny live 3. Besides that Greg has mentioned him a few times and talked about twin breaker during Ps I love you once. Nick took a stab at him during the Roast of Tim. Besides that they usually kinda divert if anyone brings up something related to Colin.
In addition to everything Landis said, I think Tim still says "one half of the coolest dudes in gaming" to introduce Greg, which admittedly is pretty wholesome. Other than that I'm said to say the name "Colin" very much has turned into a bad word among KF
Hugh Jackman ends his run as Wolverine....The Undertaker retires from pro wrestling....Colin leaves Kinda funny.......Yeah these past few weeks have been great LOL

You guys showed your true selves when you turned your back on your "best friend" over a dad joke. This whole podcast is just damage control and feels disingenuous. Why did you throw Colin under the bus? If you knew it was a joke then why feel the need to apologize for anything. Tim you got hate because you threw your friend under the bus instead of having his back. They don't seem to understand that very basic principle. Sounds like Colin disagreed with a lot of the companies decisions and KF slowly pushed him out. Also why couldn't you guys give Colin a political show under KF? Colin was right was already a perfect platform for him to do something like that. My guess is they were afraid that advertisers would pull the plug because of controversial things Colin would say or did say. Same reason why they pushed Colin out over a tweet. Spineless cowards.
I have been re-watching old episodes. They help show a greater perspective on everything and you really can see that all these guys really loved each other every step of the way. It is really unfortunate and sad that this molehill blew up to a mountain. The echo-chamber definitely resounded this issue into something bigger than it needed to be. I think because of their industry being so intwined (and even more so with them being a part of RT now) and because of twitters very public front facing nature - it was all a recipe for an inevitable crash. I'm really sorry for all of you guys. Kinda Funny won't be the same. But you guys have all brought so much happiness to me since the very 1st episode and even since Beyond 300 - I'm glad you talked this out with each-other and with your fans alike in this episode. There is a small amount of closure. I thank you for that. You've all been very awesome friends to me all this time. I'm sad the band is splitting up......but I'm very thankful for the awesome times where you rocked it! Colin, I wish you all the best brother ! To whats left of the KF best friends, I'm still with you guys till this garbage truck explodes and takes everyone out in a fiery blaze of glory.......If you ever get your head down...try and remember that a great purple man once said "a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts". I Love all you Scumbags.
Great episode. A big thanks to all involved for releasing it. It brought the closure I needed, and I'm happy about what the future holds for all you guys.

John Roman I love that all us scumbags have so many inside jokes with each other.
Robert Appleby "Of course Colin isn't sexist" goes without saying. Them jumping in and saying that he isn't is just another form of PR speak.

Josh Koga Yup he's a mechanical engineer

Engineers apply science while scientist develop science.

“Colin will never be a dirty word here. We’re never going to deny what you did here. And I do want you to come back whenever you’re able.”

Mr Grimmr74 me too
Nick starting at 1:19:20 is what I am glad was verbalized.
E-Man825 hes the only one who said sorry for not supporting his friend.
Potemkin What's happening to Nick??
Potemkin Hey, that's respectable. Hopefully positive criticism can lead to improvements in content and structure.
Potemkin I still enjoy their stuff, but I'm glad people are taking that approach. Content creators need that accountability from their consumers.

Matt Plays yah, I would have never guessed some of the stuff he was against
Anyone who can even remotely read between the lines can see clearly that Colin was hurt by his friends not standing up for him in any way. I was disappointed in them and it didn't even happen to me. He's just trying to handle the situation maturely and not burn bridges unnecessarily.
100% agree
He should've been like fuck you to all the guys and just left, it makes us look bad the people who stood up for him. It's like we're overreacting and he's just pretending nothing ever happened. I hate people who play the middle, fuck that shit
But you people are overreacting. The People that were directly affected by this situation have moved on.

@@BasheerrkoColin made a joke that his peers within Kinda Funny and a handful of his peers outside of found to be in bad taste. Greg and Tim put out statements about it and Colin resigned shortly thereafter
Wasn't even bad either
@presidentc4 what was the joke?
I feel like this episode really explained a lot. I hope everyone stops with all the hate now. Colin just wanted to go in a different direction.
Lets support both Colin's Last Stand and Kinda Funny.
No, Tim doesn't get it.
Joel Gottlieb I cannot agree enough. People want a very black or white answer. This is a group of people with different interests and passions.
Colin would have done this eventually, and in an odd way, this tweet sped up the process and has probably "helped" Colin. Why hate if everyone is happy?
Joel Gottlieb
I've been saying this ever since it all happened lol thanks for stating this! I love KF and colin both
Paul Scott I believe you "don't get it." I'm sure my message will anger you, but just think about it.
Are you more angry than Colin? If yes, why?
Said that from day one if you think back to the show just after they visited Rooster Teeth for the first time and they were talking about how Kinda funny should grow the others kind of liked the idea of being more like RT while Colin wast he only one who said he not like that
I'm not crying. It's the allergies, and the onions... In the air... Air onions.
“He’ll be back I’m sure one day.” But he never was :(
1:31:55 damn no one talking about how Nick precisely predicted the future here
what would be nice is if Colin appeared on "cool friends" in 2020
Greg said he wouldn’t
@@ROCKY8410 where did he say that? so sad ):
@@ROCKY8410 is there a reason he wouldnt?
@@allenshipley8304 He's a bitch
Sadly it’s not gonna happen you can just watch Joe Rogan‘s interview with Colin Moriarty to find why.
+dee worley
Exactly. Since they split I have been looking for a new one. Still havent found one, and nothing will replace it yet. I started listening to beyond when I was 16, and I am 26 now.
Big Boss Easy Allies is really great. Has all the guys from the now-defunct Game Trailers. They're all really good guys
thanks heaps man, ill check it out.
Colin leaving KF should give EZA a nice boost.
Thanks for everything guys, you've become a very important part of my week. We'll always be here for you, both KF and CLS. Keep rocking!
I wish one day Colin could come back and just catch up with everybody. Or at least the ones who are cool with him. Like Nick and Kevin.
Greg hasn't talked to Colin since 2017, soooo I don't see it ever happening.
Funny though how you take one line from Tim though and define his whole character by it.
@@joeypancetta4118 difference is Colin made a bad joke that he doesn't believe is based in any reality whilst Tim acted like a coward.
1:55:18 "i'll never see you again". You are god damn right.
Argh, that hurts to watch. I still hope some day they pick on on each one's slack and apologize to each other or something. They were great friends and I feel like this issue was hugely exacerbated by the angst of the Trump era where people didn't trust each other anymore.
Fake tears from Gregg lmao cringe
@@linkenski Colin apologized a couple of years ago and Greg told him they couldn't be friends again. That's as best as I understand it. It a worked out though, Colin is living his best life in Virginia with a nice house, dog, and new gf. Honestly I think this split was always gonna happen eventually.
@@CurtisDillon92 Where did you hear Greg telling him "they couldn't be friends again"?
If the four dudes at the forefront of the issue can sit down together and have a civilized exchange of words ... why can't it's community do the same?
Because the community is full og bitches sadly.
Retro radio they feel betrayed it's perfectly reasonable to be angry but people being trolls isn't the right response
HE WAS THEIR FRIEND, AND THEY BETRAYED HIM! HE WAS THEIR FRIEND!
Retro radio because there not being honest about it. why havent they let funhaus talkabout it
I’m just sad over the Miller-Moriarty friendship ending like this...I hope one day they can talk to each other again and realise this nonsense was never bigger then the bond they had.
the day that kinda funny died
Oh I unsubbed and basically only watch the episodes with Colin. I can't stand to watch a bunch of back stabbers.
Lol nope didnt die. Still going strong 😂
Is that an Andrew Dice Clay reference?
Colin kept everything grounded. Now everyone is just abrasive and deafening.
Thank you guys for posting the full episode!
the fact that they felt they "had" to apologize for the tweet from Colin and not for the list list for Disney Princess they would fuck says a lot to me. They started the company so they could say whatever they want......
Fuck... Seeing Colin actually sitting there feels so fucking right!! I'm going to miss this. I always pictured going on the show with all of you. It sucks that's no longer a possibility. But as a best friend, I'm proud of you all.
As hard as this is for us, this must be a nightmare for you guys, especially Greg. I'm very sad to see Colin go, but excited for what he does next.
Will support colin and kf regardless of what the trolls want. Much respect to all those saying positive
+Imran Kazzy these guys*
That last fucking minute, 3 years later, breaks my heart.
DANG! "he said he's been against every major decision the company had made! crazy 45:56
Just heard a podcast that came out recently about how horrible Tim is as a person.
which podcast
m.ruclips.net/video/YCoFm_tg1Fs/видео.html
Its unreal that he hit $41K+ so fast. Can't wait to see whats coming. So happy for Colin.
He'll be back I'm sure one day says Greg...Has no balls to talk to Colin anymore. Nick seems like the only stand up dude out of you money grubbing snakes.
BlondieMancoJoe 10 Greg and Tim are a pair of snakes, sitting either side of him and doing the fake laughs and pretending to care about Colin makes me cringe
I've listened to these guys since I was 16 years old. Beyond! Game scoop, gameovergreggy and I really felt like they were my friends thru the audio and video interactions on a daily basis. But you guys aren't even kinda friends. Your full on phony. #ColinWasRight and it's sad to come back to these old videos cause all it does it make me angry. I don't even know why I'm saying this cause no one cares but you know I did at one point. So I guess I shouldn't either.
Which episode is the one you mention at the begining?
@@alsc1987 ruclips.net/video/YCoFm_tg1Fs/видео.html this is on Colin's sacred symbols podcast and he gives some behind the scenes info on how fucked tim is and how fucked up the whole thing is
1:14:35 that is the saddest thing to hear. Just imagine being Colin at that time and everyone he though were friends weren’t beside him when he needed them most
There are very few things that make me as depressed as this video does.
As a newer KF fan, it has been pretty wild to learn about Colin and Greg's brotherhood and eventual falling out. Watching this just feels so... awkward. It feels like Greg is trying so hard to sell the audience on the idea of Colin wanting this so badly at the beginning of this.
And he was never invited back...
Tim is such a despicable/two faced person...wow
He's the reason I left KF, can't stand his fake persona.
😩😭 This was so good 💙 Almost cried when Greg broke at the end 💔 You guys are all awesome! I appreciate ALL that you offer and I will continue to support you wherever you go. 😘
Have they even acknowledged Colin's existence since he left?
They did thank Colin during Kinda funny live 3. Besides that Greg has mentioned him a few times and talked about twin breaker during Ps I love you once. Nick took a stab at him during the Roast of Tim. Besides that they usually kinda divert if anyone brings up something related to Colin.
@@landis7726 That's such a shame man 😢
In addition to everything Landis said, I think Tim still says "one half of the coolest dudes in gaming" to introduce Greg, which admittedly is pretty wholesome. Other than that I'm said to say the name "Colin" very much has turned into a bad word among KF
Man, I miss watching these guys talk to each other. I know a reunion episode will never happen, but damn I’d love it.
Hugh Jackman ends his run as Wolverine....The Undertaker retires from pro wrestling....Colin leaves Kinda funny.......Yeah these past few weeks have been great LOL
Mohammad Khan ugh!!!!
Hey Greg, when you going to ask Colin back on the show?
He can be on the new show: we have cool friends
I always comeback to this episode. I support both sides still. Just miss these days. The greatest content came out when the full group was together.
The pride of Long Island, Colin Moriarty
back here after 3 years, I miss it.
I miss Colin Was Right. It had so much potential for greatness
got me tearing up like your last Beyond episode. You're all awesome! I been around since the beginning of Beyond so its good to see where two members and funny friends have come along. 8)
Kinda Phony, "We had Colin on our show so that means everything is all better" You already fucked up, you can't take back what happened.
And legend has it they never did see each other again
Thank you David Jaffe for getting that out of Colin. Greg you sold your soul to the devil
