Had to stop in Jacksonville to check out a homie's whip! Candy Green '73 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Convertible Donk squatting on 24" GOLD Daytons! Check out all the gold accents, from the grille, bumper guards, headlight half covers, the molding around the top, emblems... Just enough chrome and gold to make it look perfect! And the candy paint was just right! Love the look of the Gold D's on it.. "Fits" so right. He also had a nice system! Simple black tweed interior.. Smooth!

I have gold plated Dayton Wire on my car and I am getting rid of them because here in Nashville, no one, and I mean no one, wants to work on them! I can't even get the tire change, they are all worried about insurance risk if they remove the Dayton, put it back on and it falls off later while you are driving. Anyone here know if this is a problem all over the country?

If anyone is interested in the name of the right color of this paint, it is 'Emerald City Green' Candy collection. You can find it in the search engine. I saw Zephr can't spell it right painted the same color on www.ClassicCars.com. The video of it, the man tells the right name of the color. I just got a used 2007 PT Cruiser and want to do it in this color add a dragon on the hood, call it the Dragon Wagon. It is a 4 door. I also am going to upholster the seats in varigated brown and green gator embossed faux leather fabric. Might put some cedar wood veneering on the glove box and other places. I think I will put more padding in the seats and back too. It will be really nice when finished.
