I would have expected more from the roller coaster. This is certainly by far the most expensive coaster in the world, measured by ride length. So you can also get a record. Would have expected at least one lifthill more.
I realized that the railroad ties only appear where the guests outside of the attraction can see the track. Kinda messed up in my opinion, but the theming is really cool.

I have a feeling this was suppossed to be like 7 Dwarves Mine Train where it has a dark ride section but they just cut it and just made it a full rollercoaster.
It’s an off the shelf coaster, Universal has the same coaster in the Harry Potter sections of their parks, at least this one’s well themed instead of sticking out like a sore thumb like that one does.
@@tedioustotoro4885 But you have to remember that the Hypogriff coaster was 'The flying Unicorn' before, opened back in 2000 in the Merlinwood area (with dueling dragons and so forth). It just got a retheme in 2008/09 to fit Harry Potter is all.

Embarrassingly short. There's gonna be lots of guests who get annoyed they waited in long lines for a coaster that doesn't even last more than 30 seconds after the first lift hill.

So disappointing indeed... they should have reduced the queue lines area and used more space to expand the ride, or at least let it run for at least 3 loops... its a weaker version of the grizzly gulch runaway mine cars, what a huge letdown for something as big as Frozen🏔🎢😔

This makes TRON seem like a marathon. Seriously, this felt shorter than the GadgetCoaster but was clearly way more expensive.

Simply those two coaster models are different this is a off the shelf Vekoma Junior Coaster while 7DMT is a Custom Vekoma Family Coaster

It’s a junior Vekoma like the Barnstormer or Flight of the hippogriff that is more heavily themed.

No the park has Grizzly Mountain Railroad and that's a mix between the mine train and Big Thunder Mountain.
