I dont really know what the band was afraid of here. Even Phil seems to have wondered why he never got credit for this because he re released it. This Album rocks.
Let’s not forget the fact that Diamond Darrell shreds better than he ever has from 1:44-2:15. What’s sad is some Pantera fans have never even heard this album. It’s in my top 3, and tbh most days it’s my favorite by far. This, CFH and GSTK
I haven't listened to enough. Good album though. I like Far Beyond Driven, CFH and Vulgar the best. I really like Trendkill too, but the riffs and less insane vocals make me slightly prefer the others.
it doesnt matter tje difficult or the technicism in the guitar solos, riffs, etc. the shit that is indispensable is the music that penetrates in our bones, in our souls, that solos that go right to the heart, that is all pantera, pure class and obviusly talent because in the same ways, dimebag solos are really difficult and genius

This is sooooooooo underrated. I'd easily put this so.ewhere in Rock and Roll hall of flame. It calls to the baser instincts of man. The most underrated work of Dimebag.
You can actually hear they were trying to imitate Metallica since ride the lighting became a huge hit Metallica had a big influence on the metal community
By 1986, MetallicA already loomed so large in the metal community many metal musicians went into mourning when Cliff Burton tragically died in that bus crash in Sweden...
The people who like this album above the others are the ones who like fast technical playing over soul. I'll take slow soulful playing over fast, robotic, and technical anyday.
Diamond was his stage name at this time. Dimebag didnt come until like 3 rexords later. I mean for fucks sake, Rex was called Rex Rocker at this point.
This song is musical genius. I wish they'd rerelease this album.
I have it
This is the only album I don't have but need

Dimebag sounds of James Hetfield on this song
i agree
kill em all + Motley Crue = this song
this is pantera meets metallica

PUSSYTIME
Straight up thought the same. Didn't know this was Dime. Knew it wasn't Phil for sure.
Dime is a surprisingly good vocalist! Awesome!
Gotta Love Dimes vocals!
Lowkey my favourite pantera song

its good, but there's better solos for sure. there is no bad dimebag solo, even becoming is cool :)
@@togni9064 I would say that We'll Meet Again (from this album) is his best solo of all time though. Floods and the Sleep are a close second
IKR!!!

I'm still convinced that the pre-solo lick might be the hardest guitar part Dime ever wrote. I still have never heard anyone else play it dead on.
This song popped into my head today for no reason, so here I am to up vote.
*My personal anthem*
Hahaha if you say so bro
This is the anthem of any dude going out on a weekend night looking to score! 🤣🤣🤣
I love the solos of this album, I would say that they are almost more complicated that even cowboys album solos

Vinnie: “As far as rhythm guitar goes, Dime just loved James Hetfield. He said he had the fastest right hand in music.”
Okay so I'm gonna have to learn this on guitar RIGHT NOW!
I can play it
Badass

Honestly actually my fav Dimebag number at his best.
I love this sound to kill out rap music in traffic. It gets the job done.
Best Pantera song
Cemetery Gates is my favorite Pantera song.
Try Slaughtered
The BEST pre-1990 Pantera song for sure! Just cuz the lyrics are relatable for many young men and the instrumentals are so bad ass! 🤣🤘🍻
Dimebag is a fucking legend 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dimebag on vocals reminds me almost of a young James Hetfield.
I wish Dime would have sang a few more songs lmfaoooo! This song rips!! 🤘🤘🤘🍻🍻🍻🍻
go check out whiskey road and stuff if you haven't
excelente¡ broo
Tonight please!
An interviewer should play this to Hetfield to get his reaction
Darryl busts another sickest solo ever.
Sounds like early Riot or tygers of pan Tang in steroids
Poosee time mang
Where can I find a remaster of this album? It's my favorite Pantera album
Michael Topping sorry brother. I'm not ok with selling or hosting it.
@@ChristianF15cher I'm not sure what you are referring to, I just thought someone finally released a proper remaster I could buy.
Try eBay. I just bought the Cd for $45. Totally worth it in my opinion. 🤘

can someone explain what is guy saying at the end?
1. Copy it from stereo stream in Audacity.
2. Select the section of the waveform mentioned.
3. Select “reverse audio”.

Sounds a bit early Cru ish
Sounds like Judas Priest with glam lyrics
Because Judas Priest have never sung about sex
if metallica was a glam metal band
Why all remasters sound worse than originals?
Why is this gift horse missing teeth?

This still rocks. Fuck off, no one cares that you think your music taste is better.
