Spring break is over and it's time to get back to work! I spend the first few days trying to re-familiarize myself with my dissertation (lol), but by the end of the week I have my writing groove back. I have some research chats (because ofc I do) where I talk through my ideas. I also try to share some more of what I eat throughout the week in this vlog (vegetarian & balanced options with lots of sweet treats)

I would just invest in a monitor! Writing is so much easier when you can have notes on one screen and your writing on the other.

Your couch chats help me flesh out my own research, Sarah! Every time you start mind mapping, I come up with a new idea or expound on one that's been percolating. I've been working on the importance of feminine retellings of Homer's mythology, and when you mentioned John Greene's line about the purpose of literature to the human collective in your last vlog, so much of my hypothesis began to make sense!

I would very much love to hear you reflecting on research ethics when studying vlogs! Like do you consider it simply published and produced material, and how does that apply when it concerns for example mommy bloggers and their children being a part of the video? In my BA thesis I had to deal with similar issues when studying Twitch streamers,and I suspect I will be facing more of that in my MA.
Im only doing undergrad but its so nice seeing how balanced your work/life/hobbies are. I always overly neglect other parts of my life but this looks so nice. Also, yeah, I would also just pretend to have the level of narcissism as mfs like Freud and Nietzsche...I doubt they ever had imposter syndrome lmaoo

Hi! Congrats! I posted an empty apartment tour a couple years back. I lived in Bloom apartments and it was very affordable though I didn’t love living on the west side (far from target lol)
The mommy …. Situation…. Is terrifying with the perverts that are out there. Have you heard about Wren Elenor? The mom is being roasted for sexually exploiting her child on Tik Tok. She’s now turned her comments section off because she doesn’t want to be called out for her actions. It is interesting to see how creators also censor their audience….
