I'm not yet in the market for SLS -- I'm more of a resin-head... but I'm so happy you all exist and are working to drive down the prices so aggressively. It fills me with hope that SLS will come down to the price of a high-end FDM printer some day, and make it a no-brainer to snag one for the shop :).

Will we see HDPC and Nylon pre mixed with graphene (FLG) and or carbon fibre strands? And is there a plan for the propriety parts you developed to come down in price, and release a kit for a max of $1000-$1500? You forgot step number 552! Give your left arm and finally your print is done! Good Lord, I'll stick with my Bambu Lab lol.

While I agree it's a whole lot of messy work, SLS prints are stronger than FDM. They are comparable to injection molded strength. Only worth it if you print a lot of engineering grade parts

@@mikeb1596 Yeah I love the idea, I just wish they could come up with something that just doesn't require so much work.

holy crap I've been waiting so long (2 or 3 years maybe) for an affordable sls printer. Not like i have the money to buy it... unemployed, not even old enough to be.

Are you confident enough about your part strength to get it tested? I bet CNC Kitchen would be interested :D

Sls powder is potentially explosive. Is the fume extractor explosion rated? The printer? Does it have an inerting gas setup?

Looks pretty cool. I hope I can hire someones printer one day. I wouldn't be able to afford one of these even at this remarkable price.

hang on a sec here....3:58. i am getting serious marketing-vibes from this presentation....who here believes the top area would have ZERO powder spilled on it after he poured it?? I dont mind the reality of mess but editing it out? Thats deliberate

Nice! Good job on this. We have a Formlabs unit that we use. This is way cheaper lol
