I don't understand why in Latin Spanish they sometimes put México taking into account that the dubbing was done in Chile but it doesn't matter, good video Greetings from Mexico
Lyrics of the Portuguese version: End of the battle, alastor fails again the lords will fall at the exact moment our mandate will stand out hell be damned and alastor runs away his entire bank has fallen apart, leave power and go away because now it's our turn, hell will see the order of vees!
Spanish (Latin) Translated lyrics: End of the Battle Cows without fence (it is like, people acting nuts, if I remember correctly) Without me telling them where to go if today we encourage ourselves Maybe we'll make it to the top finally They've already felt the fear And others fled Alastor ecaped once again It isn't natural that there's no leader There's more room for me Tomorrow hell will be of the Vees
German translation: After the battle, as I thought, The barons of Hell are down and out Let's not worry Maybe tomorrow, we'll already be on top then There, Hell's just eating dirt And Alastor's gone He fled with a withdrawn tail Nature shies from (i.e., avoids) a vacuum~ Thus, there's a place for me, and you too The future of Hell now belongs to the Vees! (Also, does Japanese Valentino talk about Alastor instead of Vox??)
fun fact: the turkish vox actor (Onur Kırış) also voices the turkish dub of phoenix from valorant, interesting choice considering how less deep his voice is compared to Vox's english voice but I'd say it fits very well especially in ep 8
His voice actor is so amazing, and his voice is as you say deep, and you should hear his work as Kingpin in Netflix's Daredevil séries, his name is Matías Fajardo and he is from Chile
spanish lyrics on english: "End of a battle cows with no fences With no one to tell them where to go If we dare today, then we could maybe be at the top, at least They've already felt the fear And others have fled Alastor escaped once again Its not natural for there to be no leader, theres more room for you and me Tomorrow hell will belong to the vees"
1:17 Latin Spanish changes vox's voice and sounds a bit intimidating to and greetings from san salvador (El español latino cambia de voz y suena un poco intimidante a un saludo desde san salvador)
The German version is weird to me. Like, it works but for some reason the lyrics don't click with me (And the last part straight up doesn't rime which is pretty stupid). So I decided to come up with an alternative translation. Not trying to one-up the actual translation team but this one just works better for me: "Die Schlacht ist verzogen, Machtbasen enthoben, Höllenbarone die am Seidenfaden häng'n!
@@sean.m. I purposely took liberties with the translation. My issue with the official version isn't that it's not close enough to the original text, it's that I feel it doesn't flow as well. And I mean it does this too "After the battle, Masterless cattle" was changed to "After the slaughter, it's just as I thought" and "Whlie the rest of Hell's pissing, Alastor's missing" to "Whlie the rest of Hell's eating dirt, And Alastor's gone", in fact it kind of ruins the ending by direct translating "The future of Hell belongs to the Vees" because it gets rid of the rhyme. You can't really direct translate an English song into German anyway because of the many differences in sentence structure and words that rhyme in one language don't do so at all in the other.
i agree that there are a few too many syllables, but you're totally right about needing to take some liberties in order to get closer to the English. I really like the *sound* of the original, it's fun to sing and matches the tempo, but it misses the point several times. Especially the "just as I thought" part, they were passive viewers of the battle that had nothing to do with it I have no idea why they went with that. "Die Schlacht ist verzogen, Machtbasen enthoben" and "Die Herrschaft der Vees ist endlich in Sicht!" hit especially hard though! thanks for your translation! :D
