Yes. But being Portuguese and contractor in Ontario Canada that was exactly what I expected. They both made A great team. Well done. And having a well with so much water was definitely a blessing. I had a very bad experience with a well years ago. So happy to see how lucky this Gentleman was. Congrats.
For those concerned for my safety, thank you but please don’t worry. Camera angles make it look more dramatic. I would never do anything I’m not totally comfortable with or if I was in any doubt of my safety. And please (as one person has already made me feel responsible for anyone falling down a well), DON’T COPY! I’m not teaching or showing anyone how to do anything. I’m just documenting my journey 🙏😎😂👍 if anyone does fall down a well, please don’t blame me. The well, will be covered when I’ve built the raised stone wall around it. But if someone does fall down in the meantime, that’s trespassing 🤣😎👍 enjoy the video, stay positive and jolly 😎👍😘
You can tell by the way the crane driver was handling those rocks and the fill-in that he's done this sort of work before. 😉 What a relief the job has been accomplished. Congratulations. A fantastic job.
@@blondguy Well in the words of Beyonce putting a ring on it just got a new meaning (well 9 of them in this case 😁) Happy you and the chap working the digger thingy were ok and all the camera angles were all for dramatic effect 😃 Till Saturday. 😁
“If man decides he can move mountains” and your work on well is certainly no less of an achievement. Andrew is the gift that just keeps on giving to its subscribers with amazingly satisfying transformation videos.
Wow, wow, wow!!!! What a skill!!!! I am so glad you were able to get this done!!! And you were so good at helping, I must admit , I held my breath a few times!!!
How brilliant does the well look now...he worked very hard didnt he...so your vision of what you thought it shld look like has come to fruition...I am delighted for you...how cool he sorted gaps under gates as well...that saves you the worry of dogs escaping...
Wow what skill that digger driver has. It’s looking fantastic Andy. We really enjoyed watching it all come together, as we do all your posts. Best wishes from Australia
Very "uplifting" to see the Dance of the Excavator and the near completion of your well. I was amazed by how the water levels just kept rising. Methinks you're going to have a great source for your (I imagine) plantings. Good show!
Wow! All in all that was a tremendous job from the very beginning! Not many people would have tried and succeeded, so well done Andy! Seeing you in the bottom of the well, you looked like a guy in a leaking boat, bailing out water to try to keep afloat! Looks like hip waders were needed as the water level kept rising; your outdoor shower must've felt good after that. Seems like a successful well for your irrigation needs.
Just having a morning coffee break over my side of the world (New Zealand) have watched your tremendous work in putting in the new well. Right from the start of renovating this well the journey has been amazing. Thank you Andrew for sharing and no more going down the well on that ladder, so scary!
I hate people who make 'you should have done' comments, ..........but I've found if you dump a load of medium sized gravel or stones in the well before you try to set the first ring, it makes leveling up so much easier, .......and the casing is better grounded against subsidence. Looks great !
This was a mammoth job from start to finish , and the hardest one you did it . Very enjoyable to watch indeed .No kidding when you say you do something ...you do it . I think this is what make you different from others videos .Now come the fun part the wall around the well.well done Andy look for to the sequel to come . Thankyou
Well done Andy you were a brave man to go down that well with a few tons of digger above you,a nice stone wall around it will look great.digger guy knows what he doing operates that machine very well.have a great day Andy.
That guy did a fantastic job . A less experienced guy could have cost three times as much. I never would've understood that concept til I married a heavy equipment operator ,he retired after thirty two years .
What a video Andrew. I’ve lived all of the well ones. What a difference. Going down with the excavator couldn’t have been easy. What an achievement and the man in his excavator was so skilled from where I’m sitting. Loved this video ❤🏴
Wauwwwww..... Looks great. What an awesome job. Looking forward when you use the natural stones around, as you did at your brother's well. Thank you so much for taking us at your journey in Portugal. Bey, Bey from the Netherlands, greetings, Kyran🌹
You are remarkable. Projects that appear beyond repair you tackle with determination. The Well for one and every other house you have renovated. I'm blown away.
You are quite fortunate to have such a reliable well on your property. Its good you are insuring that it is well maintained by repairing its structure. Whomever is fortunate enough to own the property after you will be very thankful for the care you have given it and the improvements you are making to it. I am so impressed in that such a short time the well filled to the top of the fourth ring! Awesome and what a great idea to have him regrade the drive at the gates to have less of a gap available for Will to wiggle through. Peace of mind that the dogs will be safe on the property is priceless.
Such a good vibe Andrew! I stomble upon youre channel few days ago. Loving it! And learning also! Thank you for the good content. You got yourself a Portuguese fan from Setúbal! Hehe
Watched the video of the rings going in on the well. What a talented man running the digger. It was like a ballet watching him create the well. Having seen the finished product,I am amazed at how beautiful this area is now. Good for you for saving such a mess. A zen spot for sure. ❤️🇨🇦
This video could not be more interesting! Maybe one day, when you've built the surrounding stone wall, you will create a video showing the full "well story" from start to finish. I think that would Get a lot of well-deserved views. (!) You are an inspiration! Thanks so much for producing these videos. It must be a lot of work.
Yes, with everything I do there will be a start to finish video. In this case, after the stone wall. I’ve also created a play list so each topic I do will be easier to find. All the well stuff to date is in its own play list. 👍
Great! I'm going to look at your play list I love the opening music. It's so unusual and catchy. Sometimes it goes round in my head after I've watched one of your videos.
Impressive results Andrew, your hard work has paid off again. Can’t wait to see the stone wall completed, its been a pleasure accompanying you on this journey and many others.
That looked a little dangerous for the humans and the machine. You did good Andy but the backhoe operator was superb. Never thought I would find well fixing (?) so much fun to watch
I want to learn how to operate an excavator because that was art! But honestly, I’m amazed. I thought you were bonkers for digging that well out. I’m a believer!
a wonderfully productive day - lots done and the well is filling quite fast: surprisingly so, in fact - which is a good sign. Keep on trucking - it's all good! 👍👍👍👍
So great that you have documented it all from the beginning and we can all see the effort and amount of work that you've done! Wow! Such an accomplishment! I really enjoyed watching. Cheers!
I’m delighted the rings have arrived, you have waited so patiently for them . Looking forward to watching this, I guess there will be a bit of back filling involved, and the circumference of the wall might not be anything close to the size of the crater.
Great video Andy, really interesting, such a lot of effort put in to make it usable again. But I can’t imagine how they originally built that well and bricked it out, that I would have liked to see! 😅
Hurray, really enjoyed seeing the well finally rebuilt, best episode for a long time. Also you have obviously shown James how to use the camera as now following him too - keep 'em coming!
Amazing how quickly everything changed and what a find a careful skilled digger guy. Top job! I must say I was wincing when you were down the hole with the machine working. Do you gamble!!!
Well Well Well .... What a difference! 😀
Hahaha nothing like a pun!
Ahem, where there’s a well, there’s a way ……………………. I’ll get my hat …………..
That machine operator was brilliant
Really was 👍
Indeed.. such skill!
Yes. But being Portuguese and contractor in Ontario Canada that was exactly what I expected. They both made A great team. Well done. And having a well with so much water was definitely a blessing. I had a very bad experience with a well years ago. So happy to see how lucky this Gentleman was. Congrats.
He’s like an artist!👨🎨
That guy moved his excavator so gracefully, like it was an extension of his hands! Great work, both of you! Thanks for another great video.
For those concerned for my safety, thank you but please don’t worry. Camera angles make it look more dramatic. I would never do anything I’m not totally comfortable with or if I was in any doubt of my safety. That excavator guy has skills. Must feel great to finally have that part of your project checked off the list.
Totally. Once the stone wall is done it’ll start to serve its purpose 👍
That might have been the best video till date. Awesome.
Thanks 👍
You can tell by the way the crane driver was handling those rocks and the fill-in that he's done this sort of work before. 😉 What a relief the job has been accomplished. Congratulations. A fantastic job.
Grand job Andy
Well, that's more like it! That crater looked like the gateway to hell. Now it looks fantastic! Great job done!
NERVE WRACKING! That's such a nifty toy! Caterpillar? Well done!👏👏👏🇺🇦

That digging guy has mad skills!!
Ding dong dell Andy's down the well again 😬. Keep safe looked very scary with all that machinery above your head. Fascinating to watch 🙏🌻
Really wasn’t dangerous or scary. Camera makes it look worse. 👍
@@blondguy Well in the words of Beyonce putting a ring on it just got a new meaning (well 9 of them in this case 😁) Happy you and the chap working the digger thingy were ok and all the camera angles were all for dramatic effect 😃 Till Saturday. 😁
A job well done! 🤣 Can't wait to see it with a stone wall in good time, will look amazing!
Will look even better when you’ve built the stone wall around it. It also helps when you’ve got a good digger operative
Job well done. You now have a reliable water source. Glad you were able to get such a skilled well digger..👍
A wonderful piece of escapism as usual
Thanks Andrew 🙂
Huge job well done. It must be a great relief to have it behind you. On to the next challenge. Thanks for sharing.
“If man decides he can move mountains” and your work on well is certainly no less of an achievement. Andrew is the gift that just keeps on giving to its subscribers with amazingly satisfying transformation videos.

How brilliant does the well look now...he worked very hard didnt he...so your vision of what you thought it shld look like has come to fruition...I am delighted for you...how cool he sorted gaps under gates as well...that saves you the worry of dogs escaping...
It’s pulling together bit by bit. The well can now serve its purpose. After I’ve finished the stone wall. 👍
Wow what skill that digger driver has. It’s looking fantastic Andy. We really enjoyed watching it all come together, as we do all your posts. Best wishes from Australia
Absolutely amazing job done. What a difference with the well.👍🏽😉

That was really interesting and my hat is off to the backhoe operator!
It must be a relief to have those rings in the well. Your machine operator is very skilled. Have a blessed week.
With all my experience on wells you can consider your self very lucky. Lots of water.
Awesome

Well done Andy , all of your hard work has paid off .
Good job Brilliant, when you first started it didn’t look like you could accomplish all that! Keep up the good work!!!
Exciting progress
When the dirt turns to grass and the wall is around the top that will look great, good job by you and the machine operator 👌
That digger man has some serious skills!
That guy did a fantastic job . A less experienced guy could have cost three times as much. I never would've understood that concept til I married a heavy equipment operator ,he retired after thirty two years .
The logistics of repairing a well , but as Usual Andrew you have conquered , to me and anyone else this might have been nightmare to get it repaired.
What a video Andrew. I’ve lived all of the well ones. What a difference. Going down with the excavator couldn’t have been easy. What an achievement and the man in his excavator was so skilled from where I’m sitting. Loved this video ❤🏴
He knows how to operate that machine! Well done.

Brilliant job on the well Andy. Fruits of all the hard labour to be tasted soon.

Well done!
Excellent as always, digger guy was brilliant.

Always a good idea to take,e advantage of a digger while it is onsite. Great work Andrew!

So many have said that ha ha. It wasn’t as dangerous as it looked. And I would never put myself in a situation I wasn’t completely comfortable. 👍
Well well well
