I've been to Mauritius before and those flags are used to signal for service. Maybe this is the case here too? We are considering SA this fall and I was wondering: Is the Ellermann very formal, or relaxed "barefoot lux"?

Yes! It’s basically a 10min ride to all of Cape Town’s best attractions and restaurants!
