im 17 and i started watching you a few weeks ago, i used the 2 mile hard and 1 mile rest in my workout this morning and did a 1hr 07 10mile run. really works! it felt effortless
By far one of the most committed people I've had the opportunity of following the journey of! Great job man, you earned and built everything you have now and more!
Ran a 10k this morning @5:30/km pace (in the snow and icey conditions). Watching this is motivating seeing how smooth you look at a MUCH faster pace! Inspiring! Thanks for the motivation!
To run fast you better do a lot of slow running at easy pace and low HR and a few key quality session. The going at it mentality on every session is counter productive mechanically and also will make you very injury prone. Look at pro runner channels. They doing their easy runs at much slower pace than nick yet they run marathons in the 2’15 range... nick style of training suits his storytelling and his brand but what he shows on his channel is not particularly efficient if you want to get faster. Follow sage or Seth if you want proper running content from much much faster guys.
@@7Emman idk how I always get on top! Thank you for the kind words. I’m still a high schooler so not a great camera but my main goal is to inspire people from my journey!! I appreciate it man
I just stopped by your channel as well. Earned a sub from me due to your work ethic. Keep up the hard work my dude and good luck in your D2 journey. Much respect 🙏
Dang, that intro editing to the music was super sick. I love the edits and episodes the team is constantly putting out! It is my dream to work for Nick on the video and production team!
You've trained hard for this. I believe you'll do well! Thanks for sharing your videos! When I'm training it's awesome to know someone else is! We're here for you, Nick! #GoOneMore
I watch these for the information, motivation, and quality. The transparency seriously drives the BPN business past everyone else in my opinion. Thank you bringing a supplement company to Texas that we can rely on and trust.
Mad respect to this man for chasing after a seriously tough goal. Given his body composition and his customer/fan base, he could've kept this channel strictly focused on getting swoll, but he chose to go after a fast marathon. Love it.
Beast mode Nick! Just wanted to say thank you for the content, this really has kept me motivated during the lockdowns we have been having here in the UK. Completed my first half marathon this weekend with the help of G.1.M 👊 good luck with the marathon. I look forward to seeing how easy you make it look 😅
I’m over here trying to get a sub 4 hour marathon and I have no where near as much weight and muscle as Nick. What an amazing athlete. Can’t wait to see Nick attempt an ultra Marathon, if he chooses after the sub 3 hour and the next Ironman.
Yeah, cold in Austin..., I had no problem keeping my heart rate low on yesterdays run, -22 celsius and 18mph wind speed :D Cheers from Swedish Lapland!
Greets from Germany! Is it possible to run at these cold wheater? I know these temperature for you it is kind of normal, here is - 2 Celsius now and for me it is too cold to run. I make some Hiit workout at home.

@@fxpp1786 Well, as you said, it is normal to us, growing up in a cold climate you get used to it, just came back from a 10k skiing session(cross-country), -15 outside, doesn't even feel cold atm compared to what we've had earlier this week(-31). The key is many layers of thin clothing and also to keep your neck and head warm. Many cross-country skiers over here also use a face mask when it is really cold, the face mask warms the inhaled air. If I had to choose between running in +25 or -10 I would choose -10 everyday of the week, nice crisp air, easy to breathe! :D
I like that Nick is sharing the group workouts. It's cool to see so many like minded people just gettin' it in. They are all working hard and together. Feels good to be part of a high performing team no matter what you are doing.

Going to need to take on more fluid and fuel come race day. Didn’t see a lot being taken during this workout, unless it wasn’t filmed. Good luck with the final prep before your race! Great to see you get that sun 3! 💪

Hi mate, really been inspired by your vids. I set myself the challenge of running a marathon on Jan. 30th with only a month's prep. Been training for 19 days now, and so far so good. Obviously I'm not looking to run fast or set any particular PR, completion of the race is my only goal at the moment. A couple of questions to ask: Do you stretch before / after every running workout? running
Hey Nick, could you do a video about your post workout routine? I've been running for a while now, but I haven't found something that suits me well. By routine I mean like stretching, mobility, cold baths... When do you stretch, time wise? Love what you do, finger crossed for your marathon!
The way he held his form for that entire run is what impressed me the most. At no stage did his legs look heavy. Just absurd for someone that’s built the way he his.
That advice at the beginning of the video about “being in the mile” was the best advices I’ve heard about getting through basically anything hard
