So this band Old Flame were the guys he was touring with on The Past Should Stay Dead tour that he did in the fall! I saw him in November and they killed it! I'm so glad he made a band with these musicians because they seemed to just vibe so well on stage! The drummer Joe is the drummer for A Foreign Affair as well. :)
I could see that. But the writing was sooo different (not in a bad way) once he was out of the band, and it was Matt. So he had to play some part in the writing. Unless Matt just completely took over the writing. Edit: I commented before I even got to the part of the video where that was questioned. My guess would be that he played no part or the bare minimum in any of the instrumentation. Just the vocals.
@@oscarcorrea4018it seems with the completely direction change that came with Matt they all collaborated more together with a different sound they all wanted with fresh energy if that makes sense I also do think Jonny wrote most of the lyrics comparing it to his solo music and this

I think Jonny's voice was made for this genre of music. He is an extremely talented vocalist and I'm excited to see the future of this band.
