I totally agree, if I hadn’t lost so much money in the past of wanting to take advantage of the market I won’t have known this. In the case of taxes, modern millions and some of the 1% investors pile their wealth in stocks and ETFs to avoid heavy taxes on their incomes.
I have saved my income over the years and the taxes are outrageous,investing a huge portion of my savings seem a smart idea but like you said novices gets ripped apart in the market.
