I've have a 2023 Gladiator Sport S Diesel, and I'm not personally familiar with the Rubicon setup, but I've also done a fair amount of wiring and I wonder if you could have just used the AUX 1 and 2 Rubicon dash panel switches to run the lights and not have bothered with the HF harness. I like the HF off-road lights and have already installed a set of the 3" in my 97 Dakota 4x4 to replace the factory fog lights. Since the wiring was already in place, I just had to swap out the factory connectors for the ones HF supplied with the lights. Anyway, I'm a new subscriber and really enjoy your content.
So I thought the same, however once you see how the wiring harness runs, I would say it would be a lot of work. You still need to wire up your own harness if you don't purchase one. If you don't have the dash lights then the lights will be ran to a constant hot wire which means you will need to make sure the switch is always off, otherwise you may run your battery down!
