You took me back. I started buying bags in 2004. I have alot of these that I had saved for the daughter I never had lol. Now my daughter is five and I pulled them out to check on those babies lol and they are still nice as ever. 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Scott! Can you share how to tell when a bag is made by looking at the story patches of these Y2K bags? Your love of Y2K has got me started on a small collection 😻
I can QUICKLY explain simple Y2K bags quickly, but I can most certainly do a full length video on how to properly read a story/creed patch, and all the different types! Because theres alot! 😂 “N* A 3-7296” A representing the month. “A” would be January. “3” would be the year, 2003. Others will say “04” etc. and if theres an F in the second line of numbers, its Outlet! 😁👜🖤

Beautiful collection! The details are amazing aren't they?! I have about 10 to 12 90s bags, unfortunately I discovered they had mildewed in a closet with a bunch of other beautiful bags. My husband said we should throw them away but I just couldn't, it broke my heart 💔 The leather on those bags were so thick and gorgeous and I hope to be able to have them restored one day.
I remember you telling me about this! How did it end up happening? Did you leave the bags inside dust bags?
@@scottiliciousmcfabulous I believe I had them lined up on shelves, not in bags in the closet. Around that time I was going thru a lot, I lost a couple babies and horrible pregnancies. April 99, finally after another rough pregnancy my daughter Danielle was in born early and my handbag addiction took a back seat for a while lol! But now it's back!!!
@@carolique1 thats so horrible, Im so sorry hun.. Im glad you were able to get Danielle 🥰 I can see how the bags would eventually collect mildew, especially if you have humid summers. Humidity destroys things 🤧

I just picked up a vintage Coach Penelope crossbody. How can I learn what year it was made?
Whats the creed patch bottom No? I can identify it for you and try to teach you how to read it at the same time. Other than that, you can go on purse forum or google to find articles about it, I personally use purse forum for that info as its the most accurate.
