Callie Haverda (Leia), Ashley Aufderheide (Gwen), Reyn Doi (Ozzie), Mace Coronel (Jay), Sam Morelos (Nikki), and Maxwell Acee Donovan (Nate) point out easter eggs as they lead a tour of the show's famous basement, driveway, kitchen, and living room.

Kitty and Red Forman welcome a new generation of teenagers into their basement when their granddaughter Leia decides to spend her summer in Wisconsin.
Major kudos to the set department. They were able to perfectly replicate the sets from the original show, which makes sense if Kitty and Red kept everything basically the same now that they're retired.
It definitely reminds me of my grandma's house in the nineties.
Almost perfectly. The yellow couch that's now in the basement - in the 70's it had three back cushions. Now it only has two.
replication of the original set definitely holds the same warm nostalgia, but the adjustment for the time period (1990s) is really lackluster, unless the set dressers didn't want to indicate much of a change from the 1970s
@@dboproductions2853 at least for the Formans house makes a lot of sense. And small towns usually didn't change as fast as the big cities
I wanted to see some leftovers from Eric's room in Leia's room. But it has been changed so, oh well.
Moving the living room furniture into the basement is a great little detail. Makes the house feel that much more real.
Such a simple, but genius idea that I feel happens in every household
I very much loved how the pilot took direct beats form the OG show, kids finding a keg and needing a tap, hanging out on the water tower, and Leah getting the Vista Cruiser. Also really like how they're trying to connect the Foremans, Pinciottis and Kelsos into one big family through the grand children.
And Burkharts!
Parents like children ❤️🍺
Make the seasons longer, like old sitcoms, 10 episodes is too short and it felt too fast, but the show has potential.
That summer is just too short. I am honestly shocked that it was already the end. 10 episodes for a sitcom like this is absolutely not enough.
beacuse first season
@@marksantiago9841 they could maybe make it so season 2 ends with leia moving to point place and have a longer season 3 to cap off the show
@@shiny5068 i think they have to think on how to make that happen as topher and laura are not permanent in the show and how will you allow your only daughter who just turned 15 to move out
Especially them being 20 minutes
This show NEEDS to last more than one or even two seasons. The legacy of this show is too important to me
the show starts at 1995 so I'm sure they are thinking of at least 5 seasons
They can make more season they don’t have to go year every season tbh maybe 7 season?fans gave cobra Kai first season crap look how they did give it time
@@goodfellas2994 do you even know what "at least" means???? 🤦🤦🤦🤦
@@goodfellas2994 no I meant by Netflix standards because they've been canceling shows left and right
@@rockero1313 I'll be surprised if this show goes beyond two seasons if I'm honest
After all this time you would think Kitty and Red were actually married in real life, there chemistry is spot on.
their*
Red and kitty carried the show. The younger kids grew on me by episode 4/5. I really enjoyed it
yeah I felt from episode 7 where Leia put her hands to the back was so Eric
How awesome that picture of Kitty with her mom and dad! RIP to Tom Poston and Betty White.
As an avid That 70s show fan, I loved that 90s show. I hope a season 2 is on the way 😊🤙
Overall they did a great job! It worked because the kids loved and respected the OG show. I feel like Leia’s character is such a great mix of Eric/Donna 😂
I was skeptical at first, but having watch the whole season it was great. Red and Kitty haven't lost a step. That and the scenes Leo was in were hilarious. Hoping for a season 2.
It was better than I thought! I think the kids are so-so, their jokes don't land that well at times but the OG characters are still great!
Whole season!? Omg I thought they only posted the first episode
@@jackiejane there are 10 episodes available
@@hailey7368 the cast chemistry will get better in time when season 2 comes out. That 70’s Show season 1 wasn’t all that great either, but it got better.
No way you’re a real person. I’m 4 episodes in and this is easily the worst show I have ever watched in my entire life.
loved the show. cant wait for season 2 and hope season 2 has more episodes and 90s nostalgia
Same here brother !
My exact thoughts! I love the new show!
What 90s nostalgia did you actually get....honestly
Yeah man! I was really excited😆 watching That ‘90s Show on NETFLIX on the premiere date because it takes place in 1995 and talks about a new generation of Point Place, Wisconsin kids just like the old gang back in the 70’s.
@@farmergiovanni4522except it’s now ruined by a gay asian kid
Nate and Leia have sooooo much chemistry! even outside their character! Also Ozzie and kitty having the same voices kills me 😂 hope they give this show a chance and more episodes, is better than what I anticipate.
Putting the old furniture from the original series is genius in something old people do a lot
Gotta say, while it didn't blow my mind. That 90's Show was a decent reboot. It maintained the original show's structure, and am looking forward to a second season if it gets one.
Didn't maintain at all. It didn't feel real. It felt like some Disney channel show. Felt like the characters were forced to be friends & it was just shitty writing.
@@gundome12 That's exactly how I felt, everytime new cast was on it felt like I was watching some Disney Channel crap
@@gundome12 totally, I commented about this as well.

I agree and I liked it a lot
I binge watched that 90s show and I loved it😍 Kitty, Red and the other iconic characters are back and I love the teenage cast they are brilliant xx
I wish Netflix would produce these sitcoms weekly to let feedback come in and let writers feel out the actors talents best, but I hope they give this time to grow.
Most important is to film the circle scene's right. No more stitching and close ups. Just set the camera in the middle of them all and make sure no one flubs.
I agree with letting feedback come in -- its a good way to see what you're doing right or wrong, which could equal a quality show
You think they put an entire episode together in a week?...
These episodes were most likely recorded in 2021 or early 2022 I would assume and it probably took years to come up with all the show ideas and storylines with some changes along the way
@@Sisko182 the rehearsal and shooting of a script. You can look into sitcom production online. This way writers can adjust when they see new material shot. Add or change lines.
This show won't last hopefully it's put to bed because for one reason I will say this and if you want to call me homophobic or transphobic fine I don't care about your damn sexuality I don't care if your gay or transgender I really don't I only date biological women with boobs and vaginas if anybody has an issue with that deal with it I'm a straight man I only date biological women if that's a problem for you I could careless what you say
Honestly you can't even say Kitty and Red being accepting of Gay people is woke when in That 70s show a gay couple who were their neighbors at the time came over to watch football and all Red was upset about was the fact that they were Chicago Bears fans
No they were Vikings fans
Vikings fans, but that shit had me rolling.
@@LeftyStegman That's even worse than being Bears fans... Its a mortal sin!!! I'm from Wisconsin lol
1.The show is actually good i hope there will be a scene where the original group will reunite;
2.that relationship between Red and Gwen and Nik’s mom was very touching considering it was very similar to the relationship Red and Lori would have back in the day.
Great show, definitely not disappointed. Looking forward to Season 2. It would be nice if we could get 15 episodes, 10 didn't feel like enough.
This was the perfect continuation of the original! Loved it!!!
that 70s show: man, the government has cars that run on water man.
that 90s show: Did you know donkey kong is actually a gorilla ! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Wow, they got such comedic geniuses in the writing department. Good thing their target audience is just as dumb as the are!
Of course someone with purple hair enjoys shit content.
Season two needs to happen fast
Watch and do the math and you'll realize Donna harbors a dark secret!
Leia turns 15 right before school starts, so early August. Which means she was born in early August 1980. But Eric wasn't around for the last season of T70s, he only came back at the finale, where he rekindled with Donna at the end. Then the whole cast counts down the new year and the show ends.
And then only 7 months later, Leia is born.
So either Eric and Donna conceived Leia that night and Leia was born up to 2 months premature...
OR Eric isn't her father.
They're great so adorable and refreshing! I wanna season 2 NOW!!!!
I love it! As I grew up in the 80s/90s, this hits a lot of buttons for me. The Music, the fashion, the old couches. I suspect Netflix is going to roll on a S2 and hopefully more in the not too distant future.
Same! I lived with my grandparents in the 90’s and my kid will be the same age as the younger kids when I’m Eric’s age. Super relatable for me.
I grew up in the 90s so this definitely hits home. Id be a little bit younger than these kids though at the time. Was born in 89.
The nostalgia is so strong, it literally feels like I’m going back in time! This show needs to last!
If your hesitant about watching the show. I'm here to tell you, give it a shot it's actually very good!
I don't believe you.
@@Georgedcmoviefan this show was horrible.

It was…pretty bad. I’m gonna give it another chance for season 2, but it felt like it was trying a little too hard. Season 1 of That 70’s Show wasn’t the best either, but the jokes at least landed
I agree, people are just jaded.
Easily a better season than season 7
For anyone questioning if they should watch, its definitely worth it and needs a season 2
Lol no, this show will destroy your childhood nostalgia. Outside of the OG characters, the series was painful to watch. Disney-Teen tier of comedy. The OG cast definitely carries the show but they are barely in it.
@@SmashBrosBrawl I think you were forgetting how cringe the original show was at the time.
@@PivotDJ The consensus scores rate the original far higher by both audiance & Critics. So yeah, i guess it did, but people as a whole liked it far more. Your subjective opinion < aggregate opinions
@@SmashBrosBrawl bro you're trying to pass off as objective and correct while comparing reviews for a show that's been around for 3 days w reviews from a show that's been around for decades
There's no concensus, not even half the people who are gonna watch have seen it yet.
@@SmashBrosBrawl Your opinion is always also plus the show had years to prop up the audience this just came out, it needs to breathe, so far its okay not the worst but lets not pretend Thats 70s show is the perfect example of good writing. In fact those first season was ROUGH.
The first thing I noticed in the basement was the couch that was in the living room before. Loved this attention to details.
The part where fez misses the gang hit me hard. It's not just the show's gang, but w/ all of us in real life!😢
I love the progression of the couch into the basement because that's what people would have done after 20 years. When they got new furniture the old ones went down to the basement. I like the kitty kept her owls. Owls were very 70s. And they definitely would have got that blue kitchen console in the 80s. It all makes sense. But it gives me a longing to wish that I was there for every moment of the transition that's represented.
This hurts my heart so good. That 70’s show is my comfort show. It’s my favorite show. When they stopped streaming it, I spent two years tracking down the disks. I haven’t gotten the nerve to watch That 90’s show yet- but I know I will soon.
If you like the original that much, you'll probably like the new one.
It felt like just a new season of the original for like 90% of the season.
@@DanyTheMe you mean 90s%? 😎
I really loved the first episode, started loosing interest episode 2 & 3, I stuck it through and by the time I got to episode 10 I wanted more. Well done! I really loved seeing the old cast members. Kitty and Red are just amazing, watching them is like a warm hug. I would love to see another season, and more from the original cast.
I think it'd be a mistake to insert the original cast more. I love them, don't get me wrong, but they completely dwarf/overshadow the new cast. It was super obvious in the first two episodes. The episodes where they were barely there / not involved at all were probably objectively the best episodes where the new cast was shining.
Them together too much wouldn't work.
Same feeling
@@Sarnatuile ya to just see everyone randomly when the timeframe is during the summer time, wouldn't make sense I think just mentioning them by name is enough and through out the series if this show does last it would be great for them to do a cameo every now and then.
Not gonna lie, I was unsure about it at first, but after watching Season 1, it was pretty good.
It’s great seeing some of the old characters again, especially Red and Kitty, and the new kids have potential.
I noticed the original couch and chair moved downstairs! Love it.
Honestly Blew my expectations away. Thought it was gonna be really bad but ended up being pretty good, not perfect but good. I like the call backs, the cameos, the jokes and 90s references. And the characters are their own people and not extremely like their 70s counterparts. Also casting of the kids are perfect especially Jay Kelso and Leia Forman.
The Asian kid was horrible. Wtf you smoking?
@@jessewest2894 probably something better then what you're smoking cause the asian kid is literally a stereotypical gay asian kid acted and sounded like in the 90s
My biggest concern was that the new kids were gonna be carbon copies of the originals, but they really managed to write them all as new and distinct people!
And all while still fitting into the archetypes of the old ones!
I'm so happy with this show, and I'm so happy for Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith ♥ It brings me so much joy to see them again!
And the new kids are pretty cool! I think Netflix finally made an "original" sit-com that works, and I hope to see many 20-episodes-seasons ♥
Red & Kitty are the best characters on the show, it amazes me how they are the same as they were on that 70s show
They should have done more then 10 episodes. We better get a season 2 and it better feel more like the 90's
Binged it yesterday and today and really enjoyed it! Hopefully there'll be another season
first season was a blast! you know what i would love to see? they showed a little of it, but i would love to see from a hidden camera on set, what is looks like from the charecters point of view when filming an episode, like from them looking out towards the camera and studio audience. from the first scene, to the breaks from start to finish, never seen this before and keen to see how that all works in real time 🙂
Leiaaa and Nate... is the perfect Eric & Donna!
i am a HUGE that 70s show fan and i wasn't expecting much from this show because we all know how reboots can be, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to see the younger actors' development as the show goes on! kitty and red were legendary as usual
They did such a good job of including the nostalgia the show has and make it new
Love this show. Please season 2
Already waiting for season 2✨☺️💛
Loved the show, it was funny, and brought a lot of memories back. I can't wait for season 2. WE NEED MORE 🙏
The new kids look like they come from a Nickelodean sitcom.
Loved the show, easy watching, hopefully season 2
I was born in 93 so that 70s show was a show we watched in the living room as a family. i was skeptical of this show but watched the whole season and it was awesome. I even have a video on my channel of me reacting to the first episode for first time!
IIRC, Topher Grace took the old, broken basement couch after the original show ended. Wilmer Volderama took the wagon wheel coffee table and Vista Cruiser, but loaned them to the producers of the new show.
Jay is so Kelso and Leia is so Eric and I Love it💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

The 90s set has so many similarities to my grandma's house during the 90s right down to the dishes it's comforting
Yet to see this yet,, but i loved the 70s show, this looks just as good. And to have Eric's daughter called Leia,,,, top marks to the creators. 🤩
Very pleased with the 1st season, satisfying amount of cameos from the original cast, Fezs scenes were hilarious!! Look forward to more seasons
I can't believe that the live audience laughed at that Einstein joke.
Don't forget there are signals for them to laugh too 💁♀️
What audience? The used laugh tracks.
Absolutely AMAZING season 2 please
SEASON 2 C’MON!!!!
I had no expectations and I loved the commitment! This is how you do a continuation.
I loved that they moved the couch and the chair to the basement now which kind of styled up the basement compared to the old furniture 70s Show had. As we know those props are long gone because Danny, Ashton, Laura, Mila ,Wilmer, and Topher took one prop from the last time they all worked in 70s that truly was theirs. Except the table of course, what we know is Topher took the original couch, Danny took his chair, Ashton took the original Green Bay Helmet, Laura took the stereo. I’m unsure what Mila and Wilmer took but they did take something.
Loved seeing Red gift Leia the Vista Cruiser. "You could literally cruise the vistas in it..."
I love this show so much! Please renew for a second season Netflix!!! 🙏
These kids don't seem anything like 90s kids -- they ought to find some talent that can portray the era properly. Today's throwbacks are rife with content that drips with modern pc spin-offs. If you're going to portray a past era, get the talent and directors that can actually reflect the time. Otherwise, it just looks like someone's drunken idea of a time period that didn't really exist.
THIS SHOW IS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD
Not just the set is accurate, the music. I really like episode 9.... Where Ozzie found the bee suit, and the end of the episode played No rain by Blind Melon. I caught it immediately. Well done
SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!
I had a calculator watch as a 90s kid, except it was brushed aluminum. The 90s were the best time to be a kid, we had all the cool things, and we got to watch the internet become a thing, and videogames go from a handful of colors in 2D to simple polygons and 3D. Just from 1990 to 2000 was such a huge evolution in technology, and we were there for it. We also watched That 70's Show, anyone ever hear of it?
The watch Ozzie has wasn't available in the 90's in white. I loved the calculator watches from that Era.
FANTASTIC update. Congrats and can't wait for season 2!
When I was a page back in the 90s I got to sit on the original couch. Those were good times
The living room furniture becoming the basment furniture is sooo perfect.
This is how you do a reboot. The first season was great! Just wish the old cast would of had more screen time together.
Wait, why did they mention that Leia's room was "already torn down"? We better get more seasons! It's actually really good!
Usually they take down the sets to film other stuff and they just rebuild them again when they film the next season
Doesn’t hit the same as the original but it’s a lot better than I expected. Watched 6 episodes in one sitting last night and really enjoyed it!!
I hope they give this show a chance. Seen some nasty discourse online. I for one have loved these new episodes
Seeing them be all shocked and amazed by the Casio calculator watch made me feel so old.
At first I did not like Gwen, then it hit me she just mad care free and cool af and also love how everyone is so nice to each other in the friend group and actually listen to each other it make sense since its the 90s and humans have definitely evolved since the 70s. This was a great season Netflix gave it space to grow without over powering it by making it to cheesy. Red and Kitty stole the show, but I also think current technology is also hindering the nostalgia a bit, going back to the basic camera work would help this show feel bit more 90s and less wide shots would make any room feel smaller which is a good thing.
Season 2!!!
I hope this gets a few seasons. I mean, season 1 starts in July 1995, so the 5 years they're set up for would be perfect.
I truly miss the 90s so this hits home for me
This show would be WAAAAYYYYY better if they just acted their nornal selves. I think watching them in this little tour matches the old show way more than their disney acting
I can't wait for a new show for me to fall in love with.
I laugh so hard with this new kids! Give me more of them and original cast!
Gwen's dresser, reminds me of the dresser I painted for my newborn in 96.
Points for period accurate decor.

no joke, theres a thing called Moloch the owl god, that the elite apparently worship in Northern California, Bohemian Grove. And the number 13 has a lot of occult connections. Ha, interesting there are 13 owls hidden on the set. Wonder if you'd find another set of 13 owls hidden in other shows (or maybe just Netflix shows? or fox related shows?)
My favorite part was the two pictures in the living room from the original show!
