Hi, i need some help please :,( I just acquired the Zhiyun ZW-B03 controller, but it won't turn on, I'm trying to charge power through its cable in a cell phone plug and even then after a few hours of trying it won't turn on. What could I be doing wrong? I noticed that when I try to turn on a yellow LED inside the joystick it blinks a few times
So hypothetically, could you power the follow focus with say... a power bank and then (once the firmware is updated) use both the follow focus and the wireless controller as a regular follow focus on your rail system? Or, does it all have to be controlled/powered by the Crane 2? This would make for a very cheap wireless follow focus system.

+++SOLUTION: Like Onur Battal mentions below, this focus remote now works very well! But only if you have updated the firmware of your crane and then go to the crane's menu --> choose "wheel" --> choose "priority" and then choose "external" or "off". Just tested it out and it works really well. +++NEW: There now also is a "gravity"- feature that lets you tilt and pan the crane not only by moving the joystick but also by raising and turning the remote itself just like you move a nintendo wii remote. To do this: Choose the Menu button ON THE REMOTE --> scroll down and choose "gmode" and then choose "Speed". Then get back to the main view. If you now HOLD the G-Mode-button on the bottom left WHILE moving the remote, the crane will do the same movements! Which axis you can control with that, depends on the MODE the crane is in. In L-Mode it can pan and tilt, PF-Mode only allows tilting and F-Mode just allows rolling. Switching between the modes is done by clicking "Mode" once, doubleclicking it or even "doubleclick...pause...doubleclick" to reach the new POV-Mode. Hope this helps you guys.
great coverage, one of the first on youtube to be longer than a minute for some reason. One question though, is the included 15mm rod long enough to reach the focus ring of a sigma 18-35 zoom? and if it isn't can you simply extend the 15mm rod with a longer one? thanks!
Hi Ryan, not too sure without testing but, if you're using a mirrorless camera we're confident you could slide the body all the way back to accommodate the length of the lens so it reaches the focusing gear. If you're using a DSLR, it might be a bit trickier. The rod itself is quite specialized for the follow focus unit, however we think it may be possible to create a DIY solution using a longer rod (would be more ideal if it could've been just a straight swap!).
Hi Markus, we haven't tested the pull focus while using the dual handle so this is only our hunch but there is a 15mm rod clamp on the back of the wireless remote control, so mounting the remote on the handle is possible. However as far as controlling the focus goes with the remote, Zhiyun are still to release the firmware update that will enable to wireless follow focus on the remote. The firmware update should be released soon but no confirmed eta yet.
I installed it on my dual handle and it works pretty good. I did not use the clamp that you get with the remote because you can't adjust this in many ways on the handle. Instead i took a magic arm and connected it on the bottom of the remote and the 1/4" - thread hole on the bottom of the right handle. (you could also use the thread holes on the ends of the handle bar.) Like this you can position the remote next to the handle (left or right one) in a way that allows you to hold the handle while using your thumb and index finger to turn the focus wheel, move the joystick or push the buttons. This focus remote works very well but only if you have updated the cranes firmware and then go to the crane's menu --> choose "wheel" --> choose "priority" and then choose "external" or "off".

Can the follow focus work without the gimbal? Just the servo motor the wireless remote?
