@@sarahb6163 there way before we decided to go this route. The role was posted for trans women to apply. The 2 trans women that applied, and got picked, had other gigs and there was a conflict with scheduling. I’m unsure what you’re implying. But, this was our last resort.

I'll be remissed if I do not mention or share that I personally feel the "trans character depiction" would have been best reserved and gifted to a Woman with or of Trans Experience. This role could've been a great opportunity for an aspiring Actress who has an intimate relationship and interpersonal experience with Transness to depict such an important discourse in and outside of our queer community. Hope this adds some more food for your thoughts.
