    I’ve always found it strange how he attached himself to Mas Que Nada like it’s his own song. Even though it isn’t originally his, and he doesn’t sing lead vocals either. But if Jorge Ben Jor doesn’t mind, there’s no sense in looking for conflict where there isn’t any.

      It is interesting for sure and I definitely related to that sentiment at one point. From what I've seen there's been no ill will whatsoever. Jorge even thanked Sergio in his tribute post on social media for democratising the song internationally.
      I'd imagine Jorge gets a decent amount of royalties from it, so between that and the original version being more played in Brazil - anecdotally from my own experience - I don't think he minds at all.
